Raya

I woke up when the sun was already going down, my hair plastered around my forehead and my breath coming out in gulps because I had just had another nightmare.

Oh my God, Kyle, where is he?

I hurried out of the room, searching for my boy, and I pulled him into a hug when I saw him in the living room with Kendall watching a movie.

"Raya. Is everything alright?" Kendall asked, and I nodded, just finding comfort in the fact that my son was alive and with me... for now.

I had to hand him over to William tomorrow, remember?

That thought had anger coursing through my veins, but there was nothing I could really do. If anything, there was something more important to do, and I pulled away from the hug to look into his beautiful brown eyes.

"Are you okay, mom?" He asked, and I nodded.

"But you're crying."
