Chapter 4

“What exactly are you hiding from me? why does the name Olivia still bother you, who is she? She's just your past Alex!” Carol said they seemed to be arguing in the room.

“How should I explain it? The most important thing is this wedding, just focus on that and don't need to discuss anything else," Alex said.

“Are you kidding me? Everyone is discussing that girl, even though they call her just a gold digger and that means she's not fit to compete with me, but it bothers me!” Carol said.

"Then what do you want?" Alex said.

"Speed up our wedding and make sure I never hear that name again!" Carol said.

"As you wish," Alex said and Carol immediately put her arms around Alex's neck. Staring at him before kissing Alex's lips wildly.

"I made an appointment with my friend tonight, and I'm going to meet him," Alex said.

"Who's he? I'll come with you,” Carol said.

"Just old friends and you stay here, enjoy this holiday, I'm going to discuss something important, business matters," Carol said.

"Ah well, make sure you don't come home too late, or you'll miss something from me," Carol said.

"Of course," Alex said with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile, in another place, Olivia was seen looking around in a clothing store looking for a dress to wear tonight. She didn't know why her feelings at that time were so mixed, she was happy but also disappointed.

"You seem confused about your choice," Someone came to surprise her, making Olivia look at him.

"Oh, yeah, actually I like both but I only need one for tonight's event," Olivia said.

"The black one will make you more gorgeous, but the maroon one will make you look sexy, oh sorry, I'm Drew," the man said.

"Ahh yes, I'm Olivia," Olivia said as she shook his hand.

“If tonight is special, then you should go for the maroon,” Drew said.

"Tonight will probably be like any other night, and I prefer black," Olivia said.

"Oh you've made your decision, good luck Olivia," Drew said and left her.

Olivia's choice fell on the black dress in her right hand. Her job was not to seduce Alex, she just wanted to be herself.

Arriving at the hotel, Olivia immediately cleaned herself, showered, and washed her hair, and she did body care. She also bought perfume and beautiful heels to complete her look that night.

Alex had sent a message and he said that room service would come to bring them a special dinner. A smile appeared on Olivia's face, she didn't even know why she felt that happy after so many surprising things happened.

And the time she had been waiting for came, even though Olivia waited quite a long time, she didn't mind. The bell rang, making Olivia's heart flutter. She looked at herself in the mirror before opening the door for Alex.

"Hi Baby," Alex said, he was carrying a bouquet of Olivia's favorite roses, and Olivia immediately took him inside.

"Thank you, Alex," Olivia said as she kissed the rose, and when she looked at Alex, Olivia saw something different in his gaze.

"What is it? Is there something strange about me?" Olivia said.

“Can you wear a dress like this every day?” Alex said.

“Aish! I'd probably bankrupt you if I had to wear a dress like this every day," Olivia said.

"I don't mind that you must have waited a long time, we should have dinner first," Alex said.

Enjoying their romantic dinner made Olivia feel a little happy, even though she knew that maybe the moment was only temporary.

"What about Carol?" Olivia said.

"Oh really? You going to talk about her when we are together?” Alex said.

"I'm just curious because I'm sure she won't let you stay here any longer, you guys are here for the holidays but you're here, with another girl," Olivia said.

"Olivia," Alex said and grabbed Olivia's hand, making her stop eating.

“Hm?” Olivia said.

"I will speed up my wedding to Carol," Alex said and the smile disappeared from Olivia's face.

"What?" Olivia said.

"She feels uncomfortable with the news out there, and she's uncomfortable because she feels like she's competing with you," Alex said.

"She knows me?" Olivia said.

"She only knows your name, because you know a lot of people are talking about you," Alex said.

"Does that mean our contract will end after you marry her?" Olivia said.

“Do you want to dance?” Alex said.

"Dance? here?" Olivia said and he played music on his phone, before bringing Olivia to her feet and wrapping his arm around Olivia's waist, while his other hand grabbed Olivia's hand.

"You are very beautiful Olivia," Alex said, with his eyes focused on Olivia in front of him, they did a slow dance to the music.

“Is this going to end soon?” Olivia said.

“Never,” Alex said.

"But I don't want to be an affair like this, even though I know I'm just-"

"Sshhh...I'm sure you don't want to finish what you said," Alex said and brought Olivia's body closer to him.

“Can you cancel the wedding?” Olivia said and Alex just smiled.

"Don't use your feelings, Olivia, even if the marriage still happens, you will still be my girlfriend," Alex said.

"I'm sorry, but—” Olivia said.

“Olivia,” Alex said.

"Hmm?" Olivia said.

"You're mine, right?" Alex said.

"Alex, please don't be like this if there is no future for us, I-" Alex immediately kissed Olivia.

"Be mine tonight," Alex said and his hand that was on her waist slowly lowered, he pulled Olivia's dress but Olivia pushed Alex away.

"No, I can't," Olivia said.

“Yes you can, we can,” Alex said.

“No, Alex, you're getting married soon, and…no I can't,” Olivia said.

"Yes you can, we won't end, so be mine," Alex said with his eyes looking at Olivia as if hypnotizing her.

"Shit," Olivia muttered and immediately brushed Alex's lips with hers, hugged him tightly through his neck and Alex immediately lifted Olivia's body, making her jump onto Alex's body.
