“You helped me yesterday, I'm only trying to return the favor too, and also to keep my own side of the deal,” Ethan said.

Wow, he really took that seriously. I was wondering what made him take my job hunting also serious; I almost didn't remember that we made a deal yesterday. And I didn't even do what I did because of this; I'm capable of getting a job by myself without the help of anyone.

“Oh, you don't have to though. I'm sure I can do this on my own,” I said.

"I know you can, but that's before we got married to one another. Now, if you applied to any company and they see your picture with the name attached to it, every organization would want to employ you,” Ethan explained.

“While that isn't a bad thing, they'll want to always gain your favor because of who you are. I'm very sure that's the major reason you didn't want to work here in the first place."
