LANDON

Cressida’s eyes failed to adjust to the dim lighting as they entered the drawing room.

“It's quite dark in here, could you adjust the lighting, dear?”

Landon paid no heed to Cressida’s request. He stalked stealthily towards her with a plastic bag with a patronizing smile on his lips.

Joy submerged through his veins from what he was about to do. Finally, he’d be a step closer to achieving his goals.

“Landon dear, can you-” A gasp escaped Cressida’s lips as Landon placed a clear plastic bag over her head.

Mirth trickled down his spine.

“Landon, what's going on?” Cressida wheezed.

A maniac laugh escaped his lips, “There’s no need to scream Cressy. Remember, your drawing room is sound-proof.”

“Landon, I can’t breathe please,” Cressida struggled with aggravating ferocity.

His lips parted in a sigh and he pulled the plastic bag taut against her features.
