Chapter 197 Cruise Party

Shirley woke up from a nap, only to find that it was already evening.

Rubbing her sleepy eyes, she stumbled out of her room to see everyone bustling around in the kitchen.

"Did we wake you?" Tina emerged from the kitchen with a plate of freshly fried pork, saying, "Hurry up, wash your hands, dinner's almost ready."

"Huh? Okay." Shirley, still half asleep, took a few steps before snapping out of it. "Why's everyone so excited?"

Camille came out of the kitchen with a plate of food. "You were sleeping so soundly, we didn't want to disturb you. Herman said his company's throwing a cruise party, and family members are invited."

A cruise party...

Shirley looked at them skeptically. "Even if it's for family, why are you guys so thrilled? You've been to plenty of parties before, and cruises aren't exactly new to you. What's so exciting about this?"

"No, no, no!" Both of them chimed in unison. "You don't get it? Those other parties were all about champagne, fine wines, and good-looking people.
