He and I were walking down the street next to each other. The afternoons in that neighborhood were very quiet, children played side by side, cars passed along the street, and everyday activity happened everywhere.

“Today is a beautiful day,” I commented after a while as Finn and I walked side by side. I could see my house a few feet away, and if I looked toward the porch, I could still see my triplets and Jensen there.
