Lilian POV

The afternoon sun was beginning to hide behind the hills, turning the sky gold and orange. I was in a distant place, a peaceful setting that, from afar, looked something like a fairy tale. But around me, everything was wrong. A feeling of dread swallowed my chest, as if I were being led to a destiny I couldn't escape.

When I saw the car parked in the distance, my heart skipped a beat. Finn was there, standing outside the vehicle, with that implacable smile. He watched me as if I were prey, and I, once again, was being dragged towards him, without even having the strength to fight.

“You made the right choice, Lilian,” he said, his voice soft but filled with a coldness that chilled me. “Now, we are a family again.”

I couldn't respond, the words escaped me. I could only feel the pain of losing control of my life, my choices, my children. “I just want to see the kids, Finn. Please."

He looked at me with a cynical smile and waved his hand. “Calm down, Lilian. They are fine. Ever

Jensen POVI was lying in that hospital bed, staring at the dull, white ceiling, my head full of thoughts about Lilian and Finn. How could she still believe that damn Finn was innocent? Everything pointed to him, but Lilian insisted on defending him as if he were a saint."You're mumbling, Jensen," my mother said, entering the room with firm steps."Because I can't get it out of my head, Mom!" I replied, frustrated. "She doesn't want to believe me. Lilian is blinded by this loyalty she feels for Finn, and it could end up costing her dearly."My mother sighed, pulling out a chair to sit next to me. "Jensen, you've always been stubborn, but this isn't about winning an argument. It's about protecting who you love. You love Lilian, right?""Of course I do! She's the love of my life," I confessed, feeling my heart sink just thinking about her."Then don't give up on her," my mother said firmly. "Show the truth, but show it with patience. Lilian needs time to understand."I didn't respond.

  • Mr. Billionaire Claims Me Back    159. So this is going to be our new life?

Lilian POVThe apartment in the Bronx was simple, but there was still something cozy about it, despite everything that had happened. The kind of place you find when you don't have many options, but it's not the worst place in the world either. We were far from the comfort we were used to in Richmond, and everything felt a little tighter. The walls were a dirty beige, and the wooden floor was a little scratched, as if the house had been lived in by many people before us. The living room had a loveseat that looked like it had seen better days and a coffee table that was littered with scattered magazines and papers. In the corner of the room, there was a small window that overlooked a busy street, with the noise of cars and people passing by all the time. It wasn't the kind of place you'd expect to see kids playing, but that's what we had now.The children were sitting on the living room floor, their eyes red from crying. Ruby was pressed against me, trying to hide in my embrace, while

Jensen POVThe anger I felt was indescribable. The pain of having lost Lilian and the children, the fear of not knowing where they were, and the frustration of not having found any clues, any answers. All of this mixed together in a whirlwind inside me as I walked through the streets, my mind clouded with anger and despair. I knew Kate was involved in everything, and I needed answers. This wouldn't end until I knew where my family was.I didn't care about anything else, not even the consequences. I just wanted my family back.Furthermore, I arrived at the door of Kate's house, and without knocking, I entered directly. She was in the living room, staring at the window with a blank look, as if she had already lost hope. When he saw me, his eyes widened in surprise, but they soon turned into an expression of disdain.“Are you crazy, Jensen? What are you doing here? You are in shock that you are like this. You know you can't intimidate me,” Kate said, trying to sound calm, but I could see

Lilian POVThe days seemed endless. Every hour in that house was emotional torture. Finn was completely out of touch with reality, thinking this was normal. He saw us as family, but family wasn't that. Family was not prison.I tried so many times to make him understand. But Finn was irreducible. That morning, while he was drinking coffee in the kitchen, I decided to insist once again."Finn, can we talk?" I asked, trying to keep my voice calm.He looked at me, relaxed, as if everything was fine. "Of course, Lilian. What is it?"I sighed, choosing my words carefully. "You know we can't stay here forever. The kids need to go home to school. They have a routine."He shook his head, smiling. "This is their home now. And I am their routine.""It's not that simple, Finn." My voice cracked, but I continued. "I know you think you're doing the right thing, but keeping us here… it's not fair. Not for me, not for the kids. They miss their dad."He became serious, his eyes fixed on mine. "You don

Sadie POVIt was still evening, and the golden light of the sunset was streaming in through the kitchen window. I was leaning over the counter, stirring the pan with a wooden spoon. The smell of vegetables cooking reminded me of simpler days before all this. But those days were far away, and I needed to focus on the plan. In the other room, Lilian took care of the children. I could hear her soft giggles as she probably told one of her funny stories. Finn, as always, was sitting on the couch, pretending to doze off. He never really napped. He was one of those people who slept with one eye open, always alert. It was suffocating to live like this, but not for long. The sound of footsteps in the hallway interrupted my thoughts. Before I even looked, I knew who it was. Micah. “Sadie.” His voice was low, almost hesitant. I turned around slowly. I shrugged and continued stirring the pan. "If you came to drink water, the filter is in the corner. If you came to talk, go back to where y

Sadie POV The street was silent, but every second seemed charged with an almost unbearable tension. Micah was there, standing in front of me, his eyes fixed on me as if trying to understand my intentions before I even acted. The dim light from the streetlight partially illuminated his face, leaving the rest in shadow, making it impossible to decipher his thoughts. "Do you know what you're doing, Sadie?" he asked, his voice low and controlled, but still filled with something I couldn't identify. "I have no choice," I replied, trying to sound firm, but my voice came out shaky. "Not having a choice is the weakest excuse I've ever heard," he said, cocking his head to the side, as if waiting for me to say something else. "I just need to go," I insisted. "Please, Micah. Don't waste my time. Just decide what you are going to do. Whether you're going to call Mr. Sawyer or me to let go, that's for you to decide now. Don't make me waste any more of my time." Lilian POV The door slammed so hard that I felt the walls shake. The sound echoed through the house, leaving an even heavier silence in its wake. Finn entered the room dragging Sadie like she was a sack of potatoes, his fingers buried in her arm. She stumbled, almost falling when he threw her towards me. “Do you think you can fool me?” Finn's voice echoed through the room, filled with fury and an insane touch of satisfaction.“Sadie!” I reached down to help her, but Finn raised his voice before I could say anything else. “Listen well, all of you!” He pointed his finger at us, his eyes flashing with anger. “If anyone else tries to escape, I will start killing. And I swear to God I’ll start with the children.” I felt a knot in my stomach. His words hit me like a knife, and the room fell completely silent. Sadie sobbed softly beside me, and I hugged her instinctively, as if I could protect her from that absurd threat. “You’re a monster,” I whispered, my voice low but full of ha

Before I could say anything else, Rory appeared in the bedroom doorway, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.“Did you dream about Daddy too?” he asked Ruby, as if it were a shared secret.Ruby nodded slightly, and Rory took a few more steps, joining us. • Mr. Billionaire Claims Me Back    Epilogue: Deserved happy ending

Months had passed since the moment Lilian and Jensen had united forever, and the mansion, already full of life and joy, now seemed to be living a new chapter of great happiness. The afternoon was calm, but the atmosphere inside the house was buzzing with anticipation. Lilian, in labor, was preparing to give birth to the couple's fourth child, and emotions were running high.Jensen, visibly nervous, paced back and forth. His feet tapped the floor with a constant rhythm, a reflection of the whirlwind of thoughts that wouldn't settle. He paused briefly, looking at the door of the room where his wife was being assisted by the nurses. His mind couldn't find peace, thoughts of what might happen spread, even though he knew Lilian was in good hands."You need to calm down," said Philip, the couple's friend, who stood by Jensen's side. He knew how anxious Jensen could be, and his calm had always been a pillar of support. "She's strong. And you'll be an incredible father, no matter what happens

Lilian's POVI returned to the garden where Jensen was waiting for me, his attentive gaze fixing on me as soon as he saw me. He had a way of noticing when something wasn't right, and this time was no different. He had gone to check on the children, but now, he was there, as if he knew I needed him more than ever."Hey, love," he said softly, kneeling beside me. "Is everything okay?"I looked at him, and the answer just escaped me. "I'm so happy for her, but at the same time so sad. She was a part of all this, of us, and now... she's leaving..."Jensen looked at me with silent understanding, as if he knew exactly what I was feeling. He extended his hand, and with a serene smile, he pulled me close, wrapping me in his embrace. "I understand, Lilian. I felt it too, and I know how important she was. But life goes on, and people need to take new steps. And you... you've always been wonderful with her."I gave a faint smile, the weight of his words enveloping me in a comforting way. I knew

Lilian POVThe night was calm and pleasant, with a gentle breeze caressing my face and soft lights illuminating the garden. I was there, sitting with Jensen, enjoying the tranquil moments of the party. The laughter of children and the soft sounds of celebration still echoed through the house, but for a moment, the world seemed to shrink to just the two of us.Jensen held my hand and smiled. "It was a perfect day, wasn't it?""Yes, it really was," I replied, resting my head on his shoulder. "I feel so happy that we managed to pull all this off."We sat in silence for a few minutes, simply enjoying each other's company. But then, a familiar figure approached from the garden. It was Sadie, with that wide smile that always accompanied her."Hi, Lilian! Mr. Grimes! Congratulations, really, your wedding was wonderful," she said, smiling sincerely as she approached. "Everything was impeccable, and the kids were so happy. I've never seen them so excited.""Thank you, Sadie. I'm very glad you

Lilian POVIt was an ordinary day. The sun came through the windows of the house, illuminating the room with a golden light. Children were playing in the yard, their laughter filling the air. I was in the kitchen, tidying up some things, while Jensen seemed mysteriously busy somewhere in the house. "You're very quiet today, Jensen. What are you up to?" I asked, half joking, while washing some fruit. "Me? No big deal." He replied, appearing in the doorway with a mischievous smile. "You're terrible at keeping secrets." I laughed, drying my hands. He just shrugged. "Trust me. Just come with me." "Now?" I asked, surprised. "Now." He took my hand and led me to the conservatory. When we entered, I noticed the atmosphere was different. Flowers were scattered across the floor, forming a path to a small table where there was a velvet box. My heart started to race. "Jensen..." I started, but he interrupted me with a tender look. "Let me speak first, Lilian." He took a deep bre

Lilian POVDays after everything that happened, we were back in Richmond, at our home. Or rather, in Jensen's mansion. I knew things would never be the same, but I also knew we no longer had to carry the weight of Kate or any other threat. She was tried and sentenced to many years in prison for killing Finn and screwing Jensen and me. It was a relief, but not a cure for everything we went through. The children and I, to my surprise, were more excited than I imagined, despite all the turbulence we had experienced, we returned to the mansion, because it was what felt right. I didn't want to be away from Jensen again. He was always in my thoughts, and more than ever, I knew that our family needed to be together. When we arrived at the mansion, Jensen was there, waiting at the door, with that comforting smile. He seemed more relaxed now, maybe because we'd finally gotten through the storm. When he saw us, his face lit up, and he stepped forward, arms open to welcome the children."Welcome

  • Mr. Billionaire Claims Me Back    171. I care...

Sadie POVI woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, but to be honest, I had literally barely slept. I spent the night tossing and turning, thinking about Micah. How was he? Was he alone? Had he eaten anything? I need to see you.I looked at the clock. It was still six in the morning, but I couldn't stay in bed. With a heavy sigh, I got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom. I washed my face, trying to shake off the tiredness that seemed to be clinging to me, and got dressed quickly. Nothing too elaborate: jeans, a t-shirt, and a sweater. In the kitchen, I made some toast and a cup of coffee. My stomach was upset, but I knew I needed something to eat to get through the day. As I nibbled on the toast, my mind continued to wander. The image of Micah that night never left my head, his expression of pain mixed with determination. Micah had done a lot of stupid things, but he had also put himself at risk to protect us. It didn't erase his mistakes, but it was a gesture I couldn'

I knew I couldn't let fear rule their night. After they had a quick snack and settled in, we managed to get them into bed, although it wasn't easy. They were scared, not only of the situation with Finn, but also of everything they had experienced. The simple act of sleeping seemed to frighten them, as if their dreams might be interrupted by something darker.Lilian and I stayed beside them for a while, speaking quietly, trying to make the environment as comfortable and calm as possible. I pressed hard on the accelerator, feeling the vibration of the engine roar beneath me as the speedometer rose. The car rocked slightly on the uneven asphalt road, but I couldn't waste time."Finn Sawyer! Stop the vehicle immediately!" The metallic voice came through the speaker of the police car behind me."Dream on," I muttered under my breath, turning the steering wheel sharply to enter a dirt road. Rocks flew against the windshield, but I didn't slow down."Finn, Sawyer, this is your last chance! Park your car now, or we will use lethal force!"I laughed, but there was no humor in it.
