Chapter 33 - Ethan

I tug at the collar of my shirt, feeling suffocated by the tie and button-up shirt that I’m wearing.

“Fuck!” I whisper under my breath. “I fucking hate this.”

“Talking to yourself?”

I turn to see my sister leaning against the door to my room. I look at her with so much desperation in my eyes. “Please tell me that I don’t have to do this,” I beg.

She just gives me a bitter smile. “ ‘Fraid that you have to, Bubba,” she says using the nickname she gave me as a toddler.

“Shit!” I hiss out. I loosen my tie and throw it on my bed. I cover my eyes with the heels of my hands and let out a groan of frustration. “How do I get up in front of all of these wolves and do this?”
