CHAPTER SIXTY-THREE

The night is agonizingly silent, Morrigan could hear her heartbeat in her ears. Curious if the maid tending to her could hear it, and if she can she wondered what would their thoughts be. Morrigan sat in front of her vanity as her hand clutched the key pendant on the necklace Colfre gave her. Holding it close to her heart, trying to calm herself as she slowly get lost in her thoughts. Wonder why she has not heard of any news from the border. No messenger bird had come to her nor a messenger from the camps reached for her. She have not heard from Colfre for weeks and an unsettling feeling started to make her heart heavy. The maid who was combing her hair watches her, the silence inside the room unsettling anyone who comes close to the queen. The queen's reflection clearly shows how lost the queen is in her thoughts, and anyone who has eyes and ears would know who she was thinking at that moment.
