Morrigan's footsteps are light as she strides gracefully and silently in the hallway of the palace to the east side of the palace where the Prince Regent and Mathias stay. Her bare foot touching the cold marble floor as the sky lit up occasionally by the threatening storm. Her face was covered with a black veil hiding her identity. Only her beautiful eyes void of life tells the silent agony that she had kept within her. Her hair sways at every step of hers. This is the right time to exact her revenge. Her hand grips the dagger in her hand as her silent footsteps come in contact with the cold floor. The roaring thunder and the lightning illuminating the palace's dark hallway, casting a shadow on her face. Her eyes are cold and ruthless, decisive even that one would know what is running in her mind. The scene of a woman dressed in black walking silently in the hallway is a sinister scene one would not want to see.

The news of the Prince Regent's and the foreign prince's deaths spread high and low across the kingdom. Along with the night of roaring thunders and the frightening flashes of lightning, that same night was the gruesome death of the most respected gentlemen in the kingdom. An assassin had broken into the palace, as the people around the kingdom cower in fear of the approaching storm that would wreak havoc to the nation.     "Your Highness, Lord Toiba wants to seek audience..." Morrigan placed the warm cup of fresh juice on a coaster as she flips her book. Showing disinterest to the familiar name that is waiting outside of her room, behind the closed doors. Her eyes dart simply to the closed doors thinking carefully if she will acknowledge the minister waiting for her orders. Morrigan's glanced sideways to the guard kneeling beside her. His head is bowed down on the floor as he waits for the princess' orders. She heaved a sigh, propping one of her arms as she stare out of the skies and the horizons. Her eyes staring out of the kingdom, solace visible in her eyes as she looks at the kingdom with great contentment, her hand caressing the slight bump at her tummy.     Screams and a mixture of panicking voices inside the crown princess' chamber echoed all over the room and to the hall of the west wing of the palace. With guards dispersed at a safe distance to ensure the privacy of the princess and the women inside the room. All of them are deeply panicking as they see how the maids and servants run the long hall. Even the screams of the princess pierce their ears in a manner that it'll make one's hair rise. It was the day everyone is preparing for aside for the coronation of the crown princess. It is the time for Morrigan's child to be born in this world. Maids and midwives prayed for Fiachra's guidance for the safe delivery of the child and the safety of the mother's life. Morrigan who was blessed with a royal heir at such young age, delivering a child will be too difficult for her fragile body. With her petite frame, and her already sensitive pregnancy one would only hope for the best of survival for both mother and child.

With the pavements of the streets near the palace flooding with flowers offered by the citizens, from camellias, roses, tulips, to stargazers that were brought by the tourists, offered to the queen as they celebrate with her for another year given to her by Fiachra. The festivity in the streets was in equal terms of the nobles inside the palace, as coaches line the front of the palace gates, with esteemed diplomats and nobles presenting their invitations in their fine tailored dresses and suits, with their lavish gifts for the Queen of Hymir, and their wishes for her reign's longevity. The heavy curtains that used to be in the shade of maroon were then changed into red velvet curtains that bring out the grandiosity of the palace.
