I wake up the next day to a loud knock on the door.

"Ryker, Autumn, please get up and dressed and join me in the study in 20 minutes. My friend will be here, and he is a very busy man, so we don't want to keep him waiting. Also, Esther made chocolate chip pancakes, if you would like to eat first, Autumn." Vimpir yells through the door.

I hear Ryker groan in annoyance before tightening his arms around me and kissing my neck softly.

"Did you have a good sleep?" he asks softly, and I smile.

"Yes, an amazing one. Will you come get breakfast with me?" I ask, making him chuckle.

"Of course, little fawn. Did you want to get ready first?" he asks, and I shake my head.

"We can do that after." I reply.

We both get out of the bed and make our way downstairs where Ester already has a plate prepared for me.

"What would you like to drink?" she asks happily, as I sit down at the table.

"Do you have tea?" I ask.

"I sure do! What would you like in it?" she asks.
