They were silent as they heard their parents have sex in the room they were in. It was embarrassing, to say the least, but there wasn't anything they could do. Melody felt sick to her stomach. She had never imagined she would live to see such a day, but here it was.
They waited till their parents had left the room before they left and went to their rooms. Melody said she didn't feel like having sex anymore, and Siril knew she had gone through a lot and couldn't force anything on her.
Before she slept, she sent Siril a message assuring him that they would have the whole house to themselves starting the following day. He shouldn't worry about their one spoilt night.
He sent a simple ok, and that was the end of yet another dramatic day as step-siblings.
