Jacob raised a brow. “After you got into my pictures and tried to blackmail me?” He then asked before he laughed. “You’ve to be kidding.”

Lara frowned at him. She opened her mouth before she closed it. In the end, she could not respond to him.

He was really amused by this woman.

“Listen, you can keep the shirt,” Jacob said eventually with a smile, “Or you can give it back later, alright?”

“Fine,” she muttered softly before nodding her head. After that, Lara left his apartment.

Three days later, Jacob found his shirt freshly washed and folded in front of his door.

Jacob picked it up, and a note fluttered out to the ground. Inside his apartment, Jacob unfolded and read it: “Thanks again. Can meet any time.”
