Erick waited at the ice cream parlor, he ate calmly looking in all directions, it was already ten past two, and she did not appear. He did not understand why she would not stand up or why she would not come when that whole meeting was her idea.
He felt down. For some reason, he thought that could be the start of something great, but twenty minutes had already passed, and she had not arrived. As time passed, his disappointment grew, and he believed. He blamed himself for being hopeful in such a chaotic event when at that moment, he felt a delicate hand on his shoulder.
When he turned to see who was touching him, he saw a smiling Simone who sat next to him, when he saw her he said.
“I thought you were not coming!”
The young woman grinned and said.
“And leave you with the last word? Of course not. It’s my turn to tell how we met!”
Sitting down, she ordered the same ice cream flavor that he and smiling Erick asked.<
