Cole, most of the time, lived alone. Because of this, it was easy for him to prepare for the family life that his father had set up for him. He was living in a three-bedroom apartment near where the company’s new offices were supposed to be.

But at the moment, he was still moving. He still had boxes arranged in piles all over his house.

He spent a little time every day unpacking in space that day since Elizabeth was coming. He simply arranged the boxes and taking out the mirror he had in his room. He thought that the living room with the carpet in the middle would be the perfect place for Elizabeth’s photos.

The feeling was kinda novel to him. He was technically planning for the arrival of someone that he barely knew. Heck, they only have one date, and that’s the first introduction too.

It felt weird, but Cole already learned to accept that.
