"What? No way! "Silver gasped.

"Yes way," Elena said, fattening her seat belt and closing the passenger's door well.

"Is he in there now? With your mom?" She asked, glancing at Elena's house.

"Yes. He's still in there. He actually offered to take me to school but I refused. It will be kind of embarrassing to arrive at school in his car and that will make the school gossip see something new to gossip about me, " Elena said, rolling her eyes.

"why did you refuse? It would have given them something to talk about, yes, but it would have also made them know their place when it's time to talk about you," Silver said.

"Let's just go. I have a feeling that my mom is watching us. That woman won't let me rest especially since she had just shown me that her relationship with my principal had gotten to a higher level and not just a normal Fling that she usually has."

"Wow. Still can't believe this, " Silver said, proofing the keys in the ignition and driving away from Elena's mom's driveway.
