The night for the ball came, and no doubt the Queen made a very fine arrangement of the ballroom for this special day.

Everywhere was beautifully lit with decorative lamps hanging atop different corners of the room.

Red ribbons roped and wound around the upper corners of the wall and tables and chairs intricately arranged away from a spacious dancefloor.

Even the food was awesome, you could tell without tasting just by catching a whiff of it's salivating scent as the servants arranged the buffet, cleaning wine bottles and glass cups and placing them intricately on well polished trays too.

Hazel found herself without a dress for the occasion.

She stood by the window, her eyes wide and heart rising and falling slowly.

How she had forgotten to make any arrangements for a dress for tonight, she had no idea. All the clothes she came with were simple floral dresses or jeans and shirts. It seemed today had been scheduled to spur into an embarrassing disaster for her.
