Her eyes fluttered open slowly the next morning as rays of sunlight attacked them early the next morning. It was rather very brightly sunny the following morning, so much that it stung he poor eyes. Hazel groaned, grabbing a pillow and turning away from the window as she stuffed her face into it. She was not ready or eager to get up yet this morning, I mean, staying up at night and making a sandwich with Luca had cut in on her sleep time and now all she wanted to do was busy her head in these soft, plush pillows and sleep. But the sun was simply too cruel to her this morning, it had already interrupted her sleep, so even as she lay in bed now with her eyes closed, she could not even seen to fall asleep again anymore. She opened her eyes reluctantly, slowly, checking if Luca was still laying beside her, but no, he was, gone, as usual. She had grown to observe that he woke really early, what he went to bed early or not. Was he even human?I mean, he stayed up all night sometimes, an
Hazel came down to stare at the lake, she could not believe it... It looked so surreal, walking amongst flowers. The wind here was soft too, blowing loose strands of her hair across her face.Luca walked quietly towards her, coming to stand behind her. She smiled, feeling his presence behind her. "This is truly beautiful..." She said again, watching the deers feeding in the distance, "I don't even think I have ever really seen a deer in real life before."Luca chuckled lightly behind her, remaining silent. She turned slowly to face him, tilting her chin up to look into his blue eyes. "Thank you for bringing me here." She whispered. He leaned down a little to peer at her. "I am glad you like it." The wind continued to blow through her hair as he stared down at her. Luca took that moment to admire her, the way her small nose scrunched up a little as she observed everything around her. Her lips tilting into a smile occasionally too. The softness and admiration in her brown eyes.
A couple days later, on a blissful, quiet and charming morning, Freya stopped by. And suddenly it was neither blissful nor charming anymore. She was in really tight black pants and a leather jacket. A sack slung over her back. She was standing in the living room, her heavy black foots had left imprints of dirt on the floor and a servant was cleaning it up after her. Luca was busy in his father's study when she arrived, and ordered that a servant go inform him of her presence.Luca came down the staircase with furrowed eyes. Freya stood from the couch with a wide grin, her neck length, curly blonde hair bouncing lightly with her movement."Luca..." She grinned, "how come you are not ready yet?" Luca's brows furrowed a bit deeper. "Ready for what?" He asked, his eyes running down the length of her outfit. Her tight leather pants clung to her skin tightly, accentuating her shapely, strong legs. She had a lightly muscular build, because just like Luca, she too had a passion for traini
HAZEL's P.O.VIt hurt, it hurts so bad. The wretched thing had clawed my arm so painfully. My chest rose and fell rapidly as I lay upholstered in the back seat of our car. I was whimpering quietly, eyes closed."You would need to see a doctor." Luca commented from the front seat, "so the would doesn't get infected."I could see he was upset, very much so. His jaw was clenched and his blue eyes glaring narrowly at the road as he drove. I didn't respond, my entire body hurt from that one fling to a tree. What other vileness exists in these woods? I pondered to myself. What would have happened to me if Luca did not come to rescue me?I let out a shaky breath, gripping the head rest of the front seat.Luca's head tilted to the corner for a moment to check on me, before turning back to the roads."Just hold still" he said, "you will be fine." He assured quietly.I made a sound of acknowledgement in the back of my throat. What a terrible idea I had to go into the woods today, no so well
"Grandma... You are awake." Hazel gasped, walking towards the hospital bed.Grandma was laying there, a wide smile on her face, she still had her familiar same and pepper hair, though much shorter now.She stretched her hands, pending her arms for an embrace from her grandmother. She leaned into the big at once, Hazel wrapped her arms around her, a sob escaping her lips. "Grandma" she sighed, "I thought you would never wake up."She still smelled the same, that warm familiar scent of spices and fruits she always had about her, it was still there. She was almost as she could remember. "How could I not wake?" Hey grandma asked her, "of I do not wake, I would never get to see your face again. How would I go like that?"A dog escaped Hazel's lips. She buried her head in her neck, sniffling and sobbing. "I have missed you so much grandma" she sniffled, "do much has happened since you were gone."Grandma smiled, wrapping her in a warm embrace. "Really?" She asked, "tell me all about it.
Hazel with a very loud gasp. She jerked forward in bed, gasping and gaping for air. Luca was quick to rush to to her side, taking her hand in his. "Hazel..." He called, "Hazel you are okay." He assured her, rubbing his hand down her back soothingly.Almost immediately her nerves calmed, her breathing lowered and she turned to look into his blue eyes."Why happened?" She asked him, eyes slightly wide and confused. She was feeling a pinching, and throbbing sensation around her arm, she turned to glance at it, noticing the white bandage wound tightly around her arm. Her eyes widened a little... "The wolf..." She breathed.Luca nodded, his hand still holding unto hers. "Yes, we were attacked."She fluttered her eyes close and open rapidly. She remembered it, that huge brown thing, snarling abd growling as saliva dropped down it's sharp canines. She turned to Luca with a look of surprise and disbelief... 'You killed it" she breathed, shaking her head. He nodded quietly. "I was... I
Luca took a shower, stepping out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist. Laying in bed Hazel watched him walk out, drying his body and spraying some deodorant on himself. She inhaled sharply.Would she ever get used to that? The sight of his hard, bare body. She exhaled as he grabbed a shirt, pulling it over his chest. Probably not. He turned to her with a small smile. "how are you feeling" he asked her. "I am fine..." She breathed, "a little hungry though."He chuckled, "alright, sit back while I go get our dinner upstairs."She nodded her head as he left the room, shutting the door behind him. Hazel sat quietly on the bed with her feet folded when he returned with a tray of food. Luca walked towards her gently with the tray in hand, she moved her legs to the side, allowing him to seat beside her at the edge of the bed, placing their food on the table. "Here, I brought us food." He smiled, opening the tray to reveal a delicious array of dishes the tray. Hazel smiled,
You do not know why you are here do you? Or who you are married to. Everything you see and hear is a lie. Nobody here is who you think they are. Are you not curious then? To find out rue truth? About why you are here, Hazel? She frowned immediately as she read the note. Almost immediately, it turned to ash. Fear, it pounded through her ears as she read note. She could remember it, the day she went home from the hospital and the entire apartment was ransacked. A note so similar to this had been on the table, and just like this very one, it had turn into ash. She stared at the dark remains on the note, her chest rising and falling rapidly. What was this?! How did it follow her here and who even did this?!Had anyone been in the room before her and Luca? Who had access to here?!Hazel could remember very clearly Luke's words that day... He has said the ash from the note could be poisonous... She had no idea how that was even possible but she was very unwilling to test the waters a
