She was still holding firmly unto his hands as she stared into his eyes warmly.

"Why didn't you introduce me to your parents earlier before the wedding?" She asked calmly.

He inhaled, he was a bit startled he would have to admit. He did not expect her to be bold enough to walk up and take his hands in hers, she had never really done anything like it before. And quite frankly, he liked it.

He was already a bit restless about the prospects of having to explain to her why they have to share a room.

His parents would of course immediately grow suspicious of he asked for another room.

Rooms weren't a problem in this castle of theirs at all, there might even be enough to host half the village. But he knew, his parents, they would have their eyes on the both of them, hungry for the slightest suspicion, even more hungry than a gossip blog.

"It's..." He opened his mouth to speak, clearing his throat lightly. "It's complicated."

Complicated? She asked herself. How complicated could it be?
