It's been three days since Verena stayed in a different home that Galen had prepared for her, but she was still unable to do anything. Aside from practicing what Old Fool had taught her before, there was really nothing else. She had made a few wishes here and there just to make sure that she'd be able to at least hinder Leo's movements.
