Chapter Three

Rose loved the look of the pack. She could hear the young pups play and laugh. The smell of fantastic food came from almost ever corner. There was hand carved sidewalks with nicely painted street names. The cottage seem to differ in size and color. Some had a flower garden and a few others had a great batch of veggies growing. It smelt fresh. It smelled like a good life.

With a smile Rose walked around and saw a row the cottages. Some clothes were on the line blowing around by the wind.

She saw different places to work and even build a life. Just a mere thought of life for the pack was absolutely perfect. Deanna had put out her favorite rug that tells everyone to wipe their feet before entering. Rose wanted to find out if she was able to get a job first. That Ms Deanna must have asked for a place that had a red door. That made Rose and Willow smile. There was something in the air that smelled perfect. Maybe a bonfire was coming...

Deanna was busy with setting up the cozy kitchen when someone knocked on the door.

" Rose will see who that is? We have to go and meet the Alpha and Beta soon."

" No worries Ms D. I will get it." smiled Rose

Rose opened the door.In front of her stood Alpha Kyle. He was 6 ft 4 with black hair and fantastic green eyes. Rose felt like it fluttered. Standing next to him was his Beta T.J. He was well 6feet and wore his blond hair longer. Rose knew everyone would be able to handle themselves against a rogue with their eyes closed.

She just wished she was able to teach her old pack before they were decimated. Her father was an idiot. Now he was a dead idiot. That meant he would never hurt another soul again. In that small thought she was blessed.

And now the Alpha and his Beta was on her front porch.

"Please come in, Alpha, and Beta. " Deanna excitedly waved them in.

"How is everything? Is everything to your liking?" Kyle

When he saw Rose his heart skipped a beat. He found his mate.She was breath taken. Her hair was dark shade of red and it was long. It draped down her back in loose curls. Her eyes were bright blue. Kyle knew she had been through hell for the last two weeks and he wasn't about to add anymore to her plate.

" Oh yes Alpha Kyle. Everything is lovely."smile Deanna

Alpha Kyle looked at Rose.

Alpha I do have a question or two. I brought a few children that have no families left. Are you able to help me care for these pups?"

"Let me introduce my beta T.J. He and I have been best friends for years so it's only natural for him to become my Beta. So feel free to ask him just about anything."

Rose shook his hand. Beta's eyes changed colors for a brief second as he nodded to Rose and then Deanna.

"Alpha Kyle I am sorry for not coming to see you earlier. " replied Deanna as she wrung her hands. It was a nervous habit she had picked up over the years. Rose's father was tyrant. He didn't care about his pack. He loved to try himself on the omegas any chance he got. He loved to hoard food .She was trying to figure out how to feed her own husband and grandbaby when Rose had told her about her successful hiding places of food. When Deanna had seen the stash she knew that she would protect Rose with everything she had.

" I was already out working with the pack and thought I would come see you." smiled Alpha Kyle .

"Rose would you like to come outside to take a walk with me? I can show you around some." asked Kyle

Rose and Kyle walked down the sidewalk talking about simple things and when Kyle stopped he looked straight into her eyes.

" You have had your wolf for a long time now. Do you know who your mate is?"

" No, not yet but soon I am sure." Kyle smiled. He knew when she would turn 18 then she would knew find out who it was but until then he wouldn't say a word about the whole thing.

" Alpha I wanted to thank you for taking in so much of the pack survivors . It's an honor to be here. Look forward to learning so much from every pack member."

" The pleasure is all ours. TJ, this there away you can take Ms Deanna to the store so she could look around pick up a few things "smiled Alpha Kyle.

Everyone walked to the porch and looked around. They both saw the lingering eye as the passed by. They must have gotten lost in time because before he knew it there stood a woman with an olive complexion and huge moss green eyes. Her hair was sable and it piled on top of her head.

"Oh hello Kyle. How is this? Glared the Claudia

Rose wasn't happy that the lady called the Alpha by his first name. That upset the Alpha as well.

" Claudia this Rose is one of the survivors that we are adding to our pack." growled Kyle.

" Rose excuse the rude actions from my friend. I will get together with you soon. Will 10 Am tomorrow at the pack house be ok?"

Rose simply nodded her head. " Oh look your dog can nod? Have you taught her any other tricks? giggled Claudia. Kyle was pissed. Grabbing her arm he marched her to the end of the block. His cold glare too almost iced over Claudia and part of her felt like she went too far.

" First it's Alpha to you. Using my first name stopped when we were 16."

"But my love...I mean Alpha it's said we will be a match made by the moon goddess Selen has ever put together. just don't want that ..thing..near you.!pouted Claudia

Wiping his hand across his face. " How many times have I told you that will never happen. You forget I was there when you found your mate. '

Bowing her head slightly because she remembered everything. But no one will never stop her from taking revenge.

It was the first day after the survivors that came to Moon Valley that she got a good look at her people. They hadn't taken place in the ritual that would the people who were left had a decent meal and clean sheets. Last night she wondered about the huge building that held orphans. These babies had been with her just about ever and she was just making sure they would be ok. She hopefully had dreams they would find at home that they could grow and explore the world around them.

Waving by Rose put on her light jacket and walked out. In front of her was her knew best friend.

" Look here. It the Alpha 's daughter that was raging asshole. Did Daddy beat you? ... giggled Beth as she

began to slowly to walk away.

" It's Rose right? Stay away from our Alpha. When he fines his mate they'll be from our pack."

Rose stared at Claudia. " Oh you want me to stay away from Alpha Kyle? Is he your mate?" Rose waited for a answer.

" Ok check not your mate. Let me tell you something. I might not be the fighter you are but I know I know a thing or two." With that Rose walked off in such of the Omega Ann.
