As Caleb had told me in his last text message, it was his last attempt to communicate with me. It has been two weeks since then. Not once have I heard from him or even seen him. True to his word, he had moved out of the packhouse.

I was still a mess, not knowing what I was wanting, but I couldn’t take it anymore. I have spent years wishing Caleb was back home. Now that he was, I was the one pushing him away.
