Noelle stepped into the mansion slowly, scanning the hall. The house seemed strangely silent and dangerous. She could feel the heaviness of his dark aura. She could sense he was furious. She could feel his gloomy mood even though he was not there. She glanced at the screen of her phone and only found thirty-seven missed calls from her husband. She was unable to receive his call because she forgot her cell phone in the car. Walking into the kitchen she gulped down a glass of water all at once and tried to stop herself from trembling. She didn’t know why she felt scared of her husband. Luther would never hurt her. The only mistake she had made was leaving Xavier with his nanny. Though Xavier had his nanny, he would not get the same comfort as his mother. Noelle looked at her phone’s screen and read the text from Luther.
