Fenrir’s POV

“You have to come and see this for yourself...at once.”

The fear in her tone caught my attention and apparently, Elena's too.

“Where is my presence needed?” I asked, staring innately at her trembling figure like she just had an encounter with a ghost.

“Just outside the courtyard, Milord. It is…is my daughter, I had to drive her all the way here on a horse back, I-she…they would not let me enter!!” She screamed, tears suddenly breaking out of her eyes. She fell to the floor in full wailing.

What was she wailing about? Instantly became audible.

“Elena, take her outside while I get dressed and find out what she is yapping about.” I order, sighing heavily.

She did as I said while I watched her breakfast getting cold. The pleasant aroma still tickled my nostrils.

Immediately they left and her crying faded a bit, I pounced on the food and drained all of the milk in a minute. Now that I was restored, and my senses were somewhat sharper, I could hear the balling behind my

Fenrir’s POV The courtyard cleared out and there I stood, lost in thoughts as every other voice fades out into a distant chatter. What have I done? Drove my Luna, the only person who could have helped me in such a messy situation. I killed the witch that kept the Pack safe. Just in a few days of my guard down, I had a body tied to my failure. The image of the dried up body appeared fresh in my mind, making me close my eyes. I couldn't stand the image in my head. The pale skin, visible bone, and the smell of rotting flesh. A fly buzzing past my left ear got me out of my head, only to realize that Rudolph has been trying to get my attention. “Rudolph…what is it? Don't you have an assignment to take on?” My impatience is evident. “Yes, Milord. I just assumed that our course of journey was going to change because of-” Rudolph's expression changed into that of nervousness. I frowned even deeper, coming closer to him. “Not a word about a Valley Vampire or Vampires should go

“I'm also very knowledgeable on Valley Vampires and I know how, when and through what means they attack.” Elena stood up to prove herself worthy. “Then you'll be useful?” My patience began running low as she opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. “Dear Saints, keep my hands from blood shed while I can.” I walked out of the door. “Come along.” I bellowed, in case my silent prayers meant nothing to her. “Did he really mean that or is he going to actually kill you?” “He meant it. We just have to see which of us he kills first. One time, he strangled my sis-” “Elena, Do you fancy your skull cracked into tiny orphan pieces?” I turned around swiftly, asking her in a low voice. Her eyes widened like a saucer, gulping down saliva. I could hear her heartbeat quicken. “No-no, no Alpha.” She stuttered, shaking her head severally. “Good. No chit chat. This is not an excursion to the Alpha quarters, it is work.” I reminded both of them, turning around to continue my journey. Both

Fenrir’s POVFour hours passed. Books, scrolls, memoirs, and pamphlets were scattered all over the rug that cladded the ground of my study. Elena still looked energetic while Ludwig was half asleep with a book on his lap. Four hours we spent trying to get more information with the witch was able to use the spells to keep vampires away. “Still nothing?” I asked her, the solemn look of defeat downing her features. She had a bunch of scrolls and books opened by her side.“I don't know…” She sighed, looking around at the scrolls she held down with pebble stones that sat in ceramic bowls on one of the shelves. “Elena, I brought you here because you said you knew…now you don't know?” I snapped her at her, knowing fully well I was just sourcing out a way to take out my rage. It wasn't the same course rage that I knew. This rage was more from frustration. “I'm experienced with medicine and beauty care, Milord. I'm not a cartographer. These maps, there's something kind of weird about the

Fenrir’s POVA soft knock from my door distracted me from the maps arranged in front of me, leaving the same Elena had arranged them herself. Now, as for my reasons for calling Hunter. They laid abundant. First was, he was once an Alpha, before I took that right from him.. Secondly, He definitely would know more about the maps than I ever would. Lastly, he traveled more, he was more of an explorer because he traveled more with his father. A sigh escapes my lips as I rest my head back on the lush rug, sighing again. This time, my rage couldn't solve anything. This was a whole new problem, and it was because of my ignorance. The thread from the rugs tickled my ears into changing positions. For the first time in a long while, I could feel the burden of helplessness and what it really felt like. It was going to take a while before Hunter got here. The stream of self pity and guilt delicately began to flood my mind, crippling any further interest from rising up from the ground becau

Fenrir's POV “You mean I have a rat in my Pack?!!” My voice collided with the amber walls, piercing my eardrums back. Hunter flinched, moving back as he stared at me wearily. I took another swing at my bottle of wine. The dryness caused me to smack my tongue against the roof of my mouth. All this while I stayed worrying about being a failure, trying to rescue Marsai. I have been so distracted, I didn't spot a rat in my own Council. “Alpha, you can't start picking random people off the Council and lynching them in search for the culprit. We would only make a bigger mess.” Hunter spoke calmly from a distance. “This is not going to be happening at the birth of a new empire…MY EMPIRE!” I yelled out of frustration. Suddenly, the room felt small. Caging not just my restless body but the entire feeling of rage slipping out of my pores. Red dots found a way into my vision every time I close my eyes. “Hunter…get out of here.” I found myself muttering. “Wha-”“GET. THE. FUCK OUT OF HE

I walked out, glad the chills that initially crept up my arms and the run through my spine had finally stopped. Everyone must have been somehow cleared out from the infirmary before I came out because the beds were empty. Not a single sign of anyone laying around or attending to some other pregnant or injured person. Smart choice… I thought to myself, looking down at the head in my hand. It sat in my claws so naturally, it felt like it was part of my body. The thought of the head coming back to life to take its pound of flesh causes me to drop the head impulsively. I looked around, spotting a white partly soiled sheet laying carelessly on the ground. Thank the heavens I'm a smart man. I picked it up. I looked around me, searching for the head, it was nowhere to be found.“What the fuck…” My voice echoed from the walls back to my ears. Panic began to get into my bloodstream. I had to take a deep breath so I could think clearly. I breathed in my surroundings but there was nothin

Our refreshed enemies are at their strongest, so, pick up the pace.” I interrupted what was supposed to be his acknowledgement speech. Probably because he had never been invited to a Council meeting before. “Of course, Alpha.” He bowed in my direction and I nodded, giving him a go ahead. “Alright, uh-so, good day, Council. As you all know, the Valley vampires have always been around. I could see the instant worried look on the faces of the rest of the Council members. They all watched me without actually staring at me boldly. Obviously they were waiting for a reaction to confirm that Hades was, as a matter of factly right. “I will keep that in mind, Hades. In the meantime, I'm glad you are now under my protection and my Pack.” I shot back with a confident smile. He isn't about to put me on the map for being crazy, that is already a fact. Packs far and wide got to know this Pack and fear it since my arrival. Making me look stupid in front of my comrades… was something I wasn't going to accept. “So, Rudolph. Marsai's POV “Yes, child. To be specific, it is coming from inside of you.” He pointed to my belle. I stared at my own goddamn stomach. It looked just fine to me from the layers of clothes I was wearing. Then I looked back at him. There was nothing to say or do than to stare at each other for quite some time. I sighed and slouched my back, tired of the repetitive problems that kept coming after me. Everyone just did what they wanted to do to me without caring for the consequences. Why? Was it because I was too available or my heart was good to a fault? “Why is this happening to me..” I almost choked from the lump of tears that slipped down my right cheek. Why was it that I just had to be crowned with the edge of bad timing? Once again, there was no one to blame but Fenrir. In a flip second, Imon was up on his feet, sitting next to me. A comforting hand rubbed gently against my back as I felt him lower his head closer to my ears. “Don't be sad, child. You should feel honored.

Marsai's POV “Because You think loudly with your body...Just like Namilla.” He mentioned, staring me straight in the eye. “I never knew Namilla on a personal level, she was good to me and she taught me to see the good in everyone regardless of the evil in the world.” I replied without stuttering. All of these things were true. When my father rescued Namilla even against the wishes of his fellow comrades, he brought her back not just to the infirmary but to the private infirmary that was unique to the Alpha quarters. I was only but a child, so I had no idea who she was, or why the maids and doctors walked on eggshells when they were around her. It was said to be the first time anyone from my Pack has seen a real-life witch aside from all of the folktales we were told about the other creatures of the Dark around us. I decided to personally spend time with Namilla. At first, she was grungy and wouldn't say a word for an entire day while I would tell her all the details of my play d

Marsai's POV “Are you ready to see our leader now?” Grace asked. Her hands folded elegantly in front of her, her expression once again, very stoic that it brought down the temperature around me. I nodded because my tongue felt like it was glued to the roof of my mouth. I took in the scenery around me, the white light and the distant crack in the bonfire who's glow could be spotted from here. If this was my last night here, I would definitely not regret this moment. “This way…” she ushered me up front first before joining me by my side. We walked in silence.I used my Hunter prey technique but I realized that Grace's foot never made a sound as we walked. “It's the moss.” Grace chuckled, shaking her head side to side. “What?” I asked her, feeling even more confused.“You were wondering why our feet weren't making any noise. Well, it is the moss. They are said to be great sound shock absorbers.”I would be lying if I said that I heard every word she said, all I kept wondering was

Marsai's POV We exited the tent and stepped outside. A teenage boy came towards us with a cup filled with water and a small bowl of milk. He gave it to Grace and then gave me a once-over. Curiosity shone clear in his orbs. I was sure it was because he could tell I wasn't from around here so he left gingerly, joining a group of kids that resembled his age range. “That's Ace. He is 12, yet he practices magic spells twice his age. His parents died when he was four from the witch hunt attack by delusional humans…” Grace told me as she handed the cup of water over to me. A lot of questions filled up my head. One was, why was she telling me all of this? Two, did I need to know that piece of information and why was it important? But all of that could wait. I had water to drink from a cup I knew was not gonna be enough and milk from a bowl or the fact that I didn't need to wear any sandals because there was a soft moss carpet that ran through the entire area around me. The entire place f

  • Monster Alpha Fenrir Book I   Awake in another world

Marsai's POV Fenrir…Just mentioning his name made me understand that I was really capable of hate. My father's words echoed in my head. “Hate and love aren't on the opposite side. In fact, they follow each other. If you love someone enough to not hate them, you can hate someone enough and still love them. Both emotions come hand in hand because if you love how they make you feel, you would eventually come to hate how they make you feel.” Then, of course it made zero fucking sense. How could you love and hate simultaneously? Now I understand it. Even as the last images of Fenrir punching a hole in Namilla's face terrified me into my sleep, I still in some messed up way managed to see things from his point of view. I shook my head aggressively from side to side. Now isn't the time to be thinking about that monster, you need to get out of here.I reminded myself of my current challenge. I recalled the snakes in the pot and then the unfortunate man who had tricked me with it. The

The center of my legs began to feel hot and moist. “Elena, you can let go of my shaft now.” I heard him say in one of the most monotonous voices I have ever heard. “I'm so so-” “Don't make it any more awkward than it already is. But before that, first things first, why are you here? Who asked you to come here?” Fenrir didn't blink or stutter. His cold voice caused a ripple of fear and anxiety to dress up my spine down to my arm. “No-no one…” I fidgeted. His stans didn't waver as he only came closer to me, his glare becoming more menacing than ever. “I don't stutter. I also don't like to delay my victim's death so when I ask you a question, do not stutter and tell me the answer like it is or I would end up slapping your head off your neck till your skull is gliding in a pool of your own blood.” His cold demeanor onl

Fenrir's POV The last scream fueled my legs with an adrenaline boost, pushing me out of the door into the very chilly night air. I looked around me, there was fog lurking around every corner yet, they stayed out of the reach of this very restaurant. It made me feel a bit reluctant to move away from the building, now that I saw it as a safe haven. “ELENA!!” I bellowed into the night like a mad man in search of his one piece of coin he was never going to find. I heard the cry for help and pain in her voice. There was no way the wine was making me imagine things. “Elena!!” I tried again. Less of my energy was involved this time as I concentrated my smelling senses into the night air.My head swayed a bit, causing me to stumble and stop. Something was messing with my head and it reminded me of the time when I was back in my room at the Alpha quarters. The way the nightmare felt so real I couldn't believe it was all a dream. • Monster Alpha Fenrir Book I   Where the hell is Elena?

Elena's POV I must have underestimated just exactly how far the outskirt of the Pack was. I was so used to moving around with carriages from the Beta and Alpha house, I forgot just how big the Pack was. I senselessly embarked on this journey thinking I could keep close tabs on Fenrir so that when he was alone and eating, I would be able to console him. I so badly wanted that, the feeling of being there for him that I missed the whole point of the curfew...to stay indoors, away from the monsters that lurked just outside. Yet, here I was, outside. The last time I remembered seeing the back of Alpha Fenrir's white cotton shirt, I wasn't even half way through the Pack. It was almost dark now, the sun setting was almost at my eye level. The reality of the situation I just threw myself into was starting to dawn on me. I was too far into the pack now to give up and I was too far from home. If I decided to leave, turn around for the safety of the beta house, I would likely be killed or

Her body began to shake, but it didn't stop her from throwing back her ass every time to meet my hard thrust. Three to six more thrusting at an even faster pace, and she began to tremble, her moans got louder till she was gripping the sheets for her dare life. Withdrew my shaft just before my seeds began to leak, throwing it all over her bed. It was very merciful and steamy, but I was relieved at last. Standing up from the position I had taken on beside the bed, I stood towering over everything else in the room. I looked outside, it was dark, like pitch black. My skin waited for the chills to crip in, then the paranoia but nothing came. Not even a single breeze.“I think it's time to check the food.” I huffed out as I wore back my clothes. They felt even warmer against my skin. It made me crave the tend
