“I have work to look at,” Liam said dejectedly, unable to persuade Rilika of his true feelings, and the challenges were difficult for him because the person on the other end did not want to comprehend.

Liam moved away from her as a result. "Get some rest, and then we'll talk." Rilika's need for constant attention bothered him.

“Father’s birthday is coming. I, therefore considered going gift-shopping with you for him. Will you be free?” Rilika asked softly while keeping her fingers crossed. Knowing what his typical response to such questions would be, she still decided to pursue him.

I agree. I’m enjoying the story but it is dragging. The pace needs to be quicker and the writing crisp.

I agree with Patricia I think this should be moving closer to Liam finding out the truth and him and Jessica finally being together

I'm getting frustrated this story is dragging out he still doesn't know that Rilika is lying and Jessica is who he was with and Cornell is his son
