Father and Son talk

Liam held open the door for Cornell to get in, before it had been shut in front of Jessica’s eyes. She did not think Cornell would go in the car rather than asking Liam to come out.

She tapered her eyes to see what this two people were doing in the car, but suddenly the car drove away in front of her eyes. She hurried to the road and peered at the back of the car, which swiftly disappeared from her field of vision.

Jessica hurriedly went back to her house, straight running to her room before grabbing her phone from the charge. She got to see multiple missed calls from Liam’s, proving that he did, in fact, call her before coming to her house.

She frowned at the unanswered calls, unsure what had caused him to think of her at this hour of the night. She immediately dialed his number, biting the tip of her nail in anxiousness.

The call, however, did not go through and was disconnected on its own. Jessica licked her lips, puzzled, as she considered what they were doing.
