Amira's breath caught, disbelief etching lines on her face. "You loved her all this time, didn't you?" she accused, her voice cracking with emotion.

Aidan's silence spoke volumes, confirming her worst fears.

"That's why you called me a fool," Amira whispered, tears welling up. "You never stopped loving her."

Aidan didn't respond, his gaze distant and conflicted.

Amira stood abruptly, her voice trembling with hurt and betrayal. "Fine, Aidan. If Karina is what you want, then go to her. But don't expect me to be waiting when you realize your mistake."
