Chapter One Hundred-Fifty One

Lucas slid a finger out of her, causing her to squirt. He eyed her with a mix of annoyance and amusement.

"Alicia is the least of my problems," he said, licking his finger provocatively.

"Why did you have Alicia captive?" Amira pressed, curiosity overriding her caution.

He shrugged, offering a flimsy excuse. "She was in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Amira didn't believe him. She mentioned Alicia's son, then asked pointedly, "Do you know her son?"

Lucas shook his head, his fingers digging deeper into her, clearly trying to shun her questions.

He curtly denied it. "I don’t know any son."

"Are you Alicia's son's father?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper.

He hissed in frustration, "I don’t have a son!"

Her instincts told her he was lying or hiding something. She opened her mouth to ask another question, but he abruptly pulled his fingers out, grunting in irritation.

"Seems like you’re not in the mood," he muttered, drying his fingers on the duvet with an irritated grimace. "
