We were not going to take our eyes off each other, and William Gould's curious pair of cunning eyes were almost poking out of their sockets. Shocked was an understatement!

“This can't be happening. It's not going to work, no…" I was determined to stand up and leave at that moment.

“Would you at least tell me what the issue is, huh?” William Gould queried.

“Really? Him?” I cocked my head towards the cool set of blue eyes that refused to budge.

“Yeah, him. What's wrong with him?” He glanced questioningly from me to Leo.

Damn! Leo!

Why did it have to be Leo, for goodness’ sake!

“Everything is wrong with him…" I stuttered.

Leo sighed.

“Do you know what she's talking about?” William was staring at him, questioningly.

“Sit…please.” Leo softly said.

No! I didn't want to. I never wanted to. I didn't want to connect myself with him the more. Another business deal was surely not a good sign that he was going to walk out of my life some day, as he waltzed in not too long ago.
