CHAPTER 107- KATHY

Kathy couldn’t believe Parker as he drove into the parking lot of the urgent care centre her doctor worked out of.

“First, I just want to go home. I’m not sick or injured.” Parker stopped the car in a parking space and gave Kathy a skeptical look. She continued speaking. "Why did you choose this urgent care?" I didn’t tell you where my doctor’s office was.” This didn’t make her feel comfortable. It was hard enough letting someone else drive while she was a passenger.

Control and privacy were two things Kathy valued, and in the last week, Parker had steadily wormed his way past her carefully constructed boundaries.
