Asher’s POV

I had just finished a cabinet meeting and was stepping out of the boardroom when I met my butler waiting with a glass of wine.

“Your wine, sir,” he said, handing it to me as I raised a brow wondering what it was for. He explained further. “You said I should serve it to you when you leave the meeting room.”

“Oh,” I smiled. I remembered as I took it to drink before handing the empty cup to him. “That drink doesn’t taste as good as it used to. What company made that?”

“The new wine company waiting for your approval.”

“I don’t think they’ll be getting it. It tastes like the juice I usually had as a kid and they took all of the fun out of it by making it sugar-free. Ugh, it tastes like shit.”
