Chapter 5 - Thirst For Revenge

Sienna took a deep breath, trying to maintain her composure. She exchanged a quick, worried glance with her mother before addressing her children. "No, my lovelies, that's not your daddy. Why do you think that man is your daddy? Your daddy is still away on his business trip."

"He looks just like me," Alexander pointed out, appearing sad that the man wasn't his daddy.

"Yeah, Mommy, that man looks just like Xander," Isabella chimed in.

"It's just a coincidence, Bella," her mother assured.

Alexander (Xander) and Isabella (Bella) looked uncertain, but they didn't press the issue further. Inside, Sienna's thoughts raced as she saw David and Lyra together on the screen, a reminder of the betrayal that had shaped her life.

As Sienna continued to watch the scene unfolding on the television, she could feel the anger boiling within her. The sight of David and Lyra together, seemingly happy and content, reignited the thirst for revenge that she had managed to suppress for years.

She clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms as she tried to maintain a calm facade for her children.

Her mother, sensing Sienna's emotional turmoil, placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Sienna, we can talk about this later. Let's not upset the children."

Sienna nodded, swallowing the lump in her throat. "You're right, Mom. We'll discuss it later."

As Xander and Bella scampered off to play, Sienna's mind raced with plans and possibilities. The time for settling scores had arrived sooner than she had anticipated, but she would not back down.

Those who had wronged her would pay for their actions, and she would ensure that they received their just retribution.

Kate Hendrix may have once been susceptible to deception and easily pushed around, but Sienna Hamilton had transformed into someone entirely different. She was a strong, unyielding force to be reckoned with, someone who refused to be trampled upon or taken advantage of ever again.

The following day, Sienna decided to share her revenge plans with her parents. She gathered them in the living room and began to explain her intentions.

"Mom, Dad, I've been thinking about what happened yesterday when the kids saw David on TV. It's time for me to take action and make those who hurt me pay for their actions," Sienna said with determination in her eyes.

Her mother, Kate, looked at her with concern. "Sienna, are you sure this is what you want? Revenge can be a double-edged sword."

Richard, her father, added, "Your mother is right. It's important to think carefully about the consequences of your actions."

Sienna nodded. "I understand, but I can't just stand by and let them live their lives without facing the consequences of what they did to me. I need to show them that they can't just walk all over people and get away with it."

Kate sighed and placed her hand on Sienna's shoulder. "We'll support you, Sienna. Just promise us that you'll be careful and not let your emotions cloud your judgment."

"I promise, Mom. I won't let this consume me," Sienna assured.

Richard chimed in, "So, what's your plan, Sienna? How do you intend to make them pay?"

Sienna explained her strategy, outlining each step she would take to ensure that David and Lyra would face the consequences of their betrayal. As she spoke, her parents listened intently, offering their advice and support whenever necessary.

She pulled out her phone and dialed Shane, her trusted assistant. As soon as he picked up, she got straight to the point.

"Shane, I've made up my mind. It's time to put our plan into action. Begin with the first step that we discussed earlier," Sienna instructed.

Shane hesitated for a moment. "Are you sure about this, Sienna? There's no turning back once we start."

Sienna's voice was firm and determined. "I'm sure, Shane. I've thought it through, and I have my parents' support. We need to make David and Lyra face the consequences of their actions."

Shane sighed but agreed. "Alright, Sienna. I'll get everything set up and start putting our plan into motion. Just remember, we're playing a dangerous game here. Be prepared for anything."

"I am, Shane," Sienna replied with conviction. "Just do your part, and I'll handle the rest."

With that, Sienna ended the call, her heart pounding with anticipation. The wheels of her carefully crafted revenge plan were finally in motion, and there was no turning back.

Sienna's parents watched her with a mixture of awe, pride, and concern as she ended the call with Shane. They knew their daughter had become a strong and determined woman, but the path she was about to embark on was filled with uncertainty and danger.

As Sienna studied the files on David's company, her father spoke up, "Sienna, from what I can tell, David's company doesn't seem to be in need of investors. It might be difficult for you to infiltrate their ranks."

Sienna looked up from the files, a cryptic smile playing on her lips. "That's true, Dad. But sometimes, the best strategy is to create a problem for the enemy... and then come in to solve it."

Her words hung in the air, leaving her parents intrigued and curious about what Sienna had planned. They knew their daughter was intelligent and resourceful, but they couldn't help but worry about the risks involved in her quest for revenge.

Sienna's eyes sparkled with determination as she continued, "Right now, I'm in the process of creating a problem for them."

Her parents exchanged glances, their intrigue and curiosity growing stronger.

"What kind of problem, Sienna?" her mother asked cautiously, concern evident in her voice.

Sienna's smile widened, but she remained cryptic. "You'll see, Mom. Trust me, it's all part of the plan. And once the problem arises, I'll be there to offer them the perfect solution."

As they listened to their daughter's confident words, Sienna's parents felt a mixture of admiration and apprehension. They knew she had changed, but the full extent of her transformation was only now becoming clear.
