41 — Date night, huh?

“Wait, Nina,” Pedro gasped and grabbed my hand, stopping me from stepping out of the car. My cheeks heated up in a smile, knowing he hadn't forgotten the name he used to call me.

“Yeah?” I pressed my lips into a thin line, gulping down the smile that was threatening to break out of my face. I pulled my hand away from the button and turned back to see Pedro, staring at me with a wide grin on his face.

“You look beautiful.” Pedro let out, his voice filled with awe. His eyes, a deep shade of purple met mine and I couldn't help but smile softly.

I cleared my throat and looked down at my lap. “Thank you.”

God! I felt my cheeks heated up and I was sure my cheeks must have been a shade of red. Pedro didn't say anything for a while, which made my cheeks heat up even more.

“Um,” he said and I slowly raised my head to see him staring at me with a nervous smile.

“Will you drop by tomorrow to get your dress?” he asked, and I felt my mouth curved into an ‘oh’.
