-=Jayden's Point of View=-
I didn't know what I'd gotten myself into. If it weren't for my friend's advice for me to relax since it was still two days away before my flight going to Macau, then I wouldn't be in this mess.
I couldn't stop myself from feeling aggrieved when I thought that I was tricked by a girl. Who would have thought that she could pull this kind of stunt? I mean, for crying out loud, I'm Jayden Andrada!
People are afraid of me, not just because of the power I possess; they are afraid of me because of my personality, and I still cannot accept that I was duped by someone like her!
Honestly, I was surprised when a waiter approached me and handed me a glass of liquor, and I was about to tell him to back off since I didn't need someone to buy me a drink, but I stopped when he pointed to the person who bought me the drink.
I felt like I was being hypnotized when I finally saw the alluring woman, sitting by herself.
The word pretty is such a lame adjective to describe her, the word gorgeous would be more fitting for a woman like herself, so it was no wonder that I found myself walking to her table, and introducing myself as I thanked her for the drink.
I thought everything was going smoothly since we already had an agreement to go somewhere more private, and to be honest, for some reason, I couldn't wait to taste her, which resulted in me kissing her on her cherry-red lips, and I was surprised by the sensation I felt when I tasted her lips.
I could tell that she was also being affected by the kiss, but she pushed me and told me that we had a lot of time, but before leaving she said that she was thirsty, so she went back to the bar, or so I thought.
I wanted to stop her, but she seemed to be persistent, so I finally let her go, but it seemed I could not take my eyes off her, so I followed her movement until I was no longer able to see her.
She returned holding two bottled water. She handed me one, and since I wanted to return to where we left, I drank it without giving it much thought, which was a really big mistake and the reason why I was in this situation.
"Melchora Crisostomo," I tried to remember if I knew someone with that name, but I've been thinking about that name ever since my abductor left, but I still couldn't remember anyone with that name.
"What if she's Amanda?" I suddenly thought.
I met Amanda in a bar more than a month ago, and if my memory serves me right, I believe she is a model, so it crossed my mind that maybe Amanda was my abductor's sister.
I admit we had a sexual relationship, but that's it. We had sex, we enjoyed each other's company, but that's all there is to it. So when I told her that we should stop seeing each other, she agreed to it, and she doesn't seem upset about it. Knowing how liberated she is, it wouldn't be a problem for her to find another bed partner, so why is her sister now blaming me for hurting her?
It just doesn't make sense!
I suddenly felt my stomach rumbling, and then I realized that I hadn't had a proper meal since last night, and it was as if my abductor was messing with me when she didn't even check on me after our shouting match earlier, leaving me hungry for the rest of the night.
Something that I haven't experienced before, and to be honest, it's not a good feeling, so I made a mental note not to skip any of my meals in the future.
I was awoken the following morning by the sudden opening of the door, and when I discovered the time, I realized that I really needed to leave this place. My flight to Macau was scheduled for this afternoon, while my business meeting would be at night, and I couldn't afford to miss this meeting.
"Good morning, did you have a good night's sleep?" She asked, acting like she was talking to a guest and not a prisoner.
I know I should be mad at her, but seeing the smile on her face helps me to calm down for some reason, and when I gazed at her lips, I immediately remembered the kiss we shared in the parking lot, remembering the feeling of her soft, luscious lips.
"Shit!" I thought to myself when I realized my ramrod was already reacting, so I tried to clear my mind and stayed focused on what I had to say.
I told her, "We need to talk," but she just shook her head.
"We can talk later, but first you have to eat, I know you're already starving," she said, which reminded me of my empty stomach.
I fought the urge to tell her that it was her fault in the first place that I was starving.
My stomach rumbled again when I had a snip at the food she prepared. It smelled delicious, but somehow foreign to my nostrils.
Considering my position, it wasn't easy to see what food she had made, but I managed to sneak a peek. I was surprised to see some strange food.
"What are these?" I asked.
Ever since I was a kid, my usual breakfast usually consists of pancakes, sausage, eggs, and slices of bacon, and this is the first time I saw something like this.
It's like a dried small fish.
"Are you serious? Haven't you tried danggit from Cebu?" She was surprised.
"Is that what it is? I've heard about it, but I haven't tried it yet, because I think it doesn't taste good," I answered defensively.
I'm the type of person who would not eat something weird or exotic that may have traumatized my taste buds.
"How will you know if it's delicious or not, if you haven't tried it yet," she said, laughing, which sounded so pleasant to my ears.
She positioned herself near my head, and just to be sure that I wouldn't gag when I started eating, he inclined my head.
The first thing I noticed was her bare face. She wasn't wearing any make-up, so I could see her fresh and refreshing look, far from the sophisticated look she had that night, and I preferred her like this.
"What are you thinking, Jayden? You need to remember, this woman kidnapped you," I reminded myself.
I was deep in my thoughts when she suddenly stood up, and before I could ask, she walked out of the room I was in, making me think if I did anything wrong again.
I was still thinking if I did or said something offensive when she finally returned, and to my surprise, she went ahead and removed the ties from both my feet, and after that, she released my right hand from the handcuff.
"You missed the other one," I said when she forgot to take off the handcuff on my left hand.
"I didn't have any intention of removing that," she said, looking straight into my eyes.
"What do you mean? I thought you were already letting me go?" I asked, confused.
"I removed your handcuff, so you could feed yourself," she answered, and before I could rebut she immediately exited the room.
"Come back! You need to let me go, or else I'm going to miss my flight!" I yelled in panic, but it was as if I was yelling for nothing since she didn't return.
I tried to free my left hand, but when I tried to pull it, it still didn't budge.
I sighed in frustration when I sat on the bed when, after minutes of trying, I still didn't manage to free my left hand.
"At least this is more comfortable," I thought to myself.
I looked at the food she prepared for me and saw the dried fish on the plate, I was hesitant to taste it at first, but I was really hungry, so I forced myself to eat whatever food she brought.
"Wow," I couldn't stop myself from muttering when I finally tasted what she called danggit, because it was actually delicious, especially if you're going to dip it in vinegar with crushed garlic.
I ate with so much gusto, and before I realized I finished everything, I made a mental note to include this meal in my morning diet.
Hours had passed, and I was still hoping for her to return, but she didn't return until night, which means that I already missed my flight and probably lost my billion-dollar business deal.
"I brought you your dinner," she said without looking at me.
She looked apprehensive as if she was expecting me to do something to her, but it was not something she expected.
"Do you know what you just did?" I asked in a calm voice, but anyone who knows me knows that I am most dangerous when I act calm.
"What do you mean?" She asked, her voice quivering.
"You just made me lose a billion-dollar account, and I promise you that you will pay for this," I said.
She finally looked at me, so our eyes finally met, and I could see the guilt and fear in her eyes, which made me sneer, but even though she looked scared, she didn't avoid my gaze and tried to stand her ground.
"You're the one who's going to pay for what you did to Mel," she said stubbornly, and after saying those words, she decided to leave with my dinner.
A long sigh passed my lips when I remembered the loss of my business deal.
I worked hard to have that business meeting, and just because of that woman, I lost the account that I worked for almost a year now.
My threat earlier was not just an empty threat, because once I escaped here, I would make sure she would pay for the damage she caused me, something that she wouldn't forget for the rest of her life.
-=Gabby's Point of View=-I think my heart was about to burst out of my chest when I finally left Jayden in his room.I don't have any doubt that he would do what he said about making me pay for what I lost him.To be honest, I didn't think about the possible consequences of my actions. All I wanted to do was to help my sister, but I forgot that all actions have their own consequences.I may be thrown in jail for kidnapping Jayden, or worse, he would probably hire someone to kill me, or maybe he would do it himself. Whatever his decision was, it only means one thing."I'm doomed!"I can't blame him because I would be furious if I had lost a potentially billion-dollar business deal.I hate to admit it, but honestly, I was feeling a little guilty but mostly scared, but I have to be strong, for him to pay for what he did to my sister. What the hell do I care if he's rich and powerful? He made the biggest mistake of hurting my sister.Just like the previous days, I tried to contact Mel, b
-=Gabby's Point of View=-I was awoken the following morning by Jayden's yelling in his room, and if there was one thing I hated the most was to be disturbed in my sleep."What now?" I thought to myself as I forced myself to get out of bed and annoyingly went to Jayden's room on the second floor."What now?!" I asked in so much irritation, but I suddenly felt wide awake when I noticed him sweating so much, so I thought that he was feeling ill. "Are you ok?" I asked worriedly, if something happened to him, then it was going to be on my conscience."No! I'm not ok! I need to go to the bathroom!" He answered, irritation all over his face. After finally knowing what he needed to do, I decided to put the key within his reach, and just to make sure that he wouldn't be able to escape, I locked the door before leaving. There's a bathroom inside the room that he can use to relieve himself, and while Jayden was doing his business, I decided to go to the kitchen and prepare our breakfast.I was
-=Gabby's Point of View=-"Hey, Gabby!" I was shocked when Regina, who happened to be my best friend and my workmate in the bank I was working at, tapped me on the shoulder."What the hell, Reg? Don't startle me!" I hissed at her."You asked me to accompany you, and yet you're spacing out. Hello... I'm right here," she said, looking at me incredulously while taking a sip from her iced coffee. We're here in a coffee shop near a mall where my house is, I would be returning to work next month since I filed a leave until Saturday, and since tomorrow is Sunday, we don't have work during that day, so instead of staying at home, I decided to call Regina to meet me here. When I got back home, Mel and her boyfriend had been long gone, and when I tried to ask Mel to come back, she said she would just return some other day."How is he?" I thought to myself, but was shocked when I heard Regina's next work."Who's he?" She asked as if she could hear what was on my mind, just like Professor X in X-
-=Jayden's Point of View=- Jayden Andrada never forgets! I would never in a million years forget the mistake that stupid woman made toward me. What does she think? I'll let it slide since she admitted her mistake and apologized to me. I lost a billion-dollar account just because she didn't make sure that she was kidnapping the right person. When I got to the office that morning, the first thing I did was meet with Arman. Arman is the private investigator I hired to investigate the woman who abducted me, and I trust Arman to get the information I needed in a short amount of time. "Thank you," he said before leaving me with the file on that woman. "Amy, I didn't want to be disturbed," I told my secretary after calling her on the private line. I immediately opened the brown folder, where I immediately saw her picture. According to the report, her real name is Gabrielle Crisostomo, but she preferred to be called Gabby. I saw several pictures from the folder; she looks really dif
-=Gabby's Point of View=-"Please! Let me go!" I begged as I tried to free myself while looking at his frightening face.He was still attractive, there was no doubt about that, but the way he looked at me filled me with dread.I have no idea how this happened, but I found myself tied to this bed, like the same bed you can find in a hospital, and the worst part of it all is that I was naked! He didn't utter even a single word but creepily smiled at me, and from the way he looked at me, I could tell that he was up to no good.Who would have imagined that such a gorgeous face could turn into a scary monster? No, erase that. He's not a monster, he's a demon!I admit, I made a mistake and deserve his revenge, but isn't this taking it too far?"What are you going to do with that?" I asked in so much fear. All the hairs on my body stood up when I saw what he was holding as it glimmered from the light coming from the outside moon."What do you think the use of a knife?" He asked dangerously.
-=Gabby's Point of View=-"Where am I?"When I opened my eyes, I was confused to see a ceiling I didn't know.I tried to stand up but immediately fell back to the bed when I felt a pain in my head.I tried to remember what happened, and it just took me a minute to suddenly remember what happened.I was on my way to the hotel I booked while I was here, and I bought a bottle of water and drank half of it, and that's when I felt dizzy until I lost consciousness."I was kidnapped by a terrorist!" I thought to myself, thinking that it was terrorists who kidnapped me, not thinking straight if there were any terrorists in this part of the Philippines.I was panicking but couldn't help but notice the design of the room, which is two times bigger than my room at our home. The room is painted in a lush green color, which is pleasing to the eyes, I also noticed different shapes of leaves on the wall.In the middle of the room is a queen-size bed, which I was in at the moment. To be fair, terrori
-=Jayden's Point of View=-I couldn't keep the sneer from forming on my lips when I heard Gabby's scream.I have never uttered a word that did not come true, and I will make sure that Gabrielle Crisostomo will be mine.I don't know what that woman has that makes me want to have her, but ever since I laid eyes on her, she hasn't disappeared from my mind, On the contrary, I found myself spacing out and thinking about her.Just thinking about her brings so much lust to me that even now, I can already feel my member reacting as if it can't wait to get inside her."Shit!" I silently muttered, and because of the reaction on my body, I immediately went inside the house and rushed to my room.I decided to take a cold shower just to relieve myself, or else I might not be able to hold myself because of Gabby.I knew it wouldn't be easy for Gabby to yield, but just like I said, I would do everything to convince her to share my bed and make love to her.Once she finally agreed, I would make sure
-=Gabby's Point of View=- "I hate you, Jayden Andrada!" I angrily screamed, and because of this anger, I couldn't help but beat the poor pillow in my bed. I kept on punching it while thinking of Jayden's arrogant and yet handsome face. After beating the hell out of that pillow, I felt so tired, so I laid my tired body in bed while looking at the ceiling of my room. I really thought I could put some sense into his thick skull, but after my talk with him, I could tell that he was really determined to take me to bed. I still couldn't believe that he would go so far as to buy the bank I was working with just for his plan, but I shouldn't be surprised when I remembered how wealthy Jayden Andrada was. I bet it doesn't leave a dent in his fortune. I suddenly realized something. Now that Jayden is the owner of the bank I was working with, it only means that I need to look for another job or company, but I will think about it later, since my focus should be on how to get out of this plac
-=Jayden's Point of View=-"How are they doing?" I couldn't help but wonder how Gabby and Caleb are doing while looking outside the glass window in my room. It's been two weeks since I decided to leave, and these two weeks have been the most painful and lonely I have ever experienced.Honestly, I wanted to go back to see Gabby and Caleb, but I tried to refrain from doing it because I didn't deserve them.I still couldn't accept the fact that my biological father is my Uncle Jovannie. My entire life, I assumed that my parents were murdered by some random person, but it turned out that it was my own uncle who murdered them, and the worst part is that he is my biological father.I'm the son of a murderer. So how could I face Gabby and my son, knowing that I'm not worthy of them? There is another person I don't know how to deal with, and that is Jared, who lost everything that day and almost lost his life, just because of Jovannie's selfishness.Jovanie has been imprisoned, but the fact t
-=Gabby's Point of View=-"Where are you, Jayden?" I thought to myself. It's been almost a week now since we were rescued from Jayden's uncle, Jovanie, and since that day, he hasn't shown his face to us.I tried calling his cellphone, but I couldn't get through to him. When I asked Jayden's staff, none of them could tell me where their boss was."You still can't contact him?" I heard Mel ask.We were currently in Caleb's room in the mansion, while Caleb was busy playing with his toys, oblivious to what happened to me and Brian."Yeah, I think his phone is still off," I said, followed by a long, deep sigh.I decided to lay down my body in Caleb's bed, I feel so exhausted from all the worry I felt for Jayden."What really happened?" I heard Mel ask, and then I felt the movement on the bed.I decided to start by telling her about my decision to meet with Brian. I know it would be unfair to Brian if I prolonged his hope that I could reciprocate his feelings.I decided to use my own car si
-=Jayden's Point of View=-I could still feel my body is still shaking from the shock I was feeling, so when one of my staff offered to drive, I didn't refuse, and let him.I was worried that if I insisted on driving, I might meet an accident on the way.And right now we are heading to the address that Rosette gave me, where she brought Gabby's belongings.I didn't even need to memorize the address she gave me because that address was so familiar to me.It's a resthouse in Batangas with three hundred hectares of land and a wide variety of fruit-bearing trees like mango and coconut.I've been there multiple times already, especially during the summer vacation when I was young, so I am quite familiar with the place. My mind is in complete disarray as I try to make sense of what is going on.It took more than three hours to arrive at the said resthouse, and my driver parked the car at a safe distance."We're waiting for your instruction," I heard the leader of my staff ask.I immediately
-=Jayden's Point of View=- I angrily wiped the tears that ran down my cheeks; no matter how hard I tried not to feel anything, it was as if my heart was longing for that pain. It hasn't been a day since Gabby left me, but the pain I was feeling was wanting me to kill myself. The message from Gabby's text still lingers in my mind, and I tried so hard to forget about it, but it feels like those words are already engraved in my mind. I can't stop thinking about what they were doing now that she's with my brother, Jared. I thought everything was going to be alright after what happened between us. I thought, finally, I'm going to have a happy family, but I guess I was just being delusional. I poured whiskey from the glass I was holding, but when I saw that it was not enough, I decided to drink straight from the bottle. I don't care if the bitter taste is burning my throat; all that matters to me is that it's helping me ignore the pain of Gabby's betrayal. A few minutes later, I hear
-=Jayden's Point of View=-"Riot"That's the exact word that describes how my house is because since we got back from vacation, Uncle Jovannie has kept insisting that Gabby and I should get married, but I don't want it to appear that I'm just being forced or as if she's being forced into marriage.I want everything to be natural, just the two of us in a romantic place, and she won't expect me to suddenly propose to her, but because of Uncle's nagging, it looks like my planned proposal will be postponed."I really need to talk to Uncle Jovanie about it," I said, frustration written all over my face.I decided to meet Isahiah so I could just have someone to tell my frustrations to.As much as I didn't want to leave Gabby and Caleb, I think I need to get away to have peace of mind, just because of my dear uncle."You really should talk to him, or better yet, since he's insistent that you and Gabby got married, why not just ask for his help, so you could prepare a grand proposal," he sugg
-=Jayden's Point of View=-I quickly turned off the alarm on my cellphone, carefully looked at my family, and then I breathed a sigh of relief when I noticed that my cellphone alarm didn't wake them up.It's only five o'clock in the morning, but I've decided to get up; I want to prepare breakfast for them."Good morning, Master Jayden," Celia greeted me when I saw her busy in the kitchen."Good morning," I greeted her.She was about to prepare the things she was going to cook when I stopped her. I just explained that I would prepare breakfast for Caleb and Gabby."It looks like you love your family very much, Master Jayden. Just call me if you need anything," she said, and then decided to leave me alone in the kitchen.Even though she already left a while ago, the smile on my lips didn't disappear.Yes, I love Gabby and Caleb so much, and I never knew that I could be this happy.I don't know if I could continue living if one of them disappeared from my life.I didn't notice the time b
-=Jayden's Point of View=-"I love you too, Jayden. I will never stop loving you," I was stunned when I heard those words from Gabby, and even though I didn't want to pull away, I had to when she confessed her feelings.I feel like my heart will jump out of my chest while looking at the woman I love the most.I looked into her eyes, and then I saw the love she has for me. I was worried that I might die from a heart attack because of how fast my heartbeat is, but I didn't mind since she made me the happiest man in the world."The woman I love loves me back," I thought to myself as I continued looking at Gabby's face with so much love."Don't you have anything to say?" She said this while laughing, but I could still detect the uncertainty in her voice, which prompted me to speak again.Alas! No words passed my lips. There was so much I wanted to tell her, but I couldn't find the words. I gripped her firmly out of fear that she would question my sincerity."How can you still love me afte
-=Gabby's Point of View=-"What do you think he meant when he said he was jealous?"I've been asking her the same question ever since we met, but still, I couldn't think straight."My God, Gabby! We had the same conversation, but are you still having doubts?" Regina asked me in disbelief. When Jayden and I had that conversation, I immediately called Regina to come to Jayden's house, and now we are together.Caleb has also fallen asleep, so I have time to talk to Regina."I know, but it's just hard to believe, I mean after all my suffering when I took Caleb away from him, he will say he's jealous as if he has feelings for me," I said frustrated."People make mistakes, especially when it comes to love. You hurt him by hiding your child," she explained."But still, you won't hurt the person you love if it's true..." but I was stunned when I remembered the day he asked me to come to Norway."Listen, Gabby, I like you; I really do. This is the first time I felt this way toward any woman, a
-=Jayden's Point of View=-"This can't be happening." I keep muttering to myself, but no matter how much I deny it, the proof is right in my hands.Again, I looked at the reports sent by Arman as if the truth could be changed."Brian is Jared."The documents Arman sent confirmed my suspicions.According to what he gathered, there was an Australian couple who saw Jared when he escaped from the killer of our parents, and also according to the information that Arman gathered, they brought my brother to Australia, where he grew up.According to their testimony to the police, Jared did not remember anything, not even his name, probably due to the shock he felt at that time.I have longed for and dreamed of seeing my brother for so long, but I have mixed feelings now.I couldn't stop my hand from shaking when I took the cell phone out of my pants pocket, and I immediately dialed the number saved in my phone."What a surprise, Jayden," he said to me on the other line. I heard the joy in his
