3RD POV:

“Goo..Good afternoon, Mr Anderson. I simply…wanted to let you know that the contract with the Williams Toy Industry in partnership with the opening of the amusement park has been sent out and I will be meeting with their executives tomorrow.” He explained stammering as he was thrown off by Ross's tone.

Ross’ heart skipped a beat as he pictured himself meeting face to face with her, so he gave instructions to COO, letting him know he would go for the meeting instead but to keep this piece of information to himself and just focus on the development of the amusement park. He agreed as he didn't even have a choice to do otherwise. He hung up and zoomed off to Grandpa Philip's house which he was ten minutes away from.

MEANWHILE…

Terra was seated in the home office of Grandpa Philip while the kids were playing with a baseball they had found after eating cookies and cotton candy specially made by the chef who was multi-talented while watching a show with their mother. They had been

My kids were not just standing and holding hands with Ross…Ross Anderson…their father….I'm hallucinating right? The room was pin drop silent which was strange because as I kept my gaze on Grandpa Philip, I could see his mouth moving. ROSS’S POV:Monday Morning:“Good morning Mr Anderson.” Mady greeted me as soon as I walked into the last floor where it was located.Everyone had been baffled to see me this early as it wasn't even 7 am yet but I had work to do. I had dialed one of my old loyal workers, Caleb Humy. He worked as an intern lawyer for the company for about three years before quitting to start his own firm. He was a good man married to a nice lawyer as well and I had just discovered he even had two kids. I invited him to come to my office today at 7a.m and informed him it was crucial, then I hung up without waiting for him to either protest or accept, however I knew he would agree to the invitation as he felt indebted to me.“Here you go, Mr Anderson.” Mady handed me a cup of strong black coffee without milk and a teaspoon of sugar, just how I preferred. And last night, I was unable to sleep a wink as different scenarios played in my head repeatedly. I took a sip as I sat down, unbuttoned my black suit

The minute we arrived at the lobby, Mady went to make enquiries at the reception while I just took in my surroundings. The architect and interior designers did a great job, I had to commend. “Welcome Mr Anderson.” The receptionist grinned at me after attending to Mady and I nodded walking towards the elevator. I could feel stares from the staff lingering around but it wasn't something I was not used to.We stepped into the elevator and Mady punched in the floor and a thought crossed my mind as the elevator went up, so I had to ask the CMO's assistant, Nile

It had been an extremely long day with long conversations with business associates and though the company was doing much better, she wasn't still at peace.WHY?“Ross Anderson.” She muttered to herself, grumbling before taking off her scrunchie and letting her loose. After telling Ross the names of her children and all he could mutter was ‘wow’, she just dismissed him coming back to her senses, remembering all the pain and hurt he had caused her, how she cried herself to sleep those nights, how she was a young girl in love with him and he and his mother treated her like garbage. But how he spoke…the sincerity in his eyes…What if he was different? I mean he would never have me again but what if he would do better by the kids? What if he wo

ROSS'S POV:TWO DAYS LATER:It was currently the middle of the week and I had been unable to get in contact with Terra since our meeting the other day. I had even just popped up at her office but she was not present. It was as if Grandpa knew that, because a minute ago while I was reading through the reports, I found out the amusement park will be ready in about a week, and I was so excited hoping that my twins will be there for the launch, Grandpa had sent me a number and checking it now, it seems to belong to my Terra's.I didn't care if the media or anyone found out about the kids, I just wanted to go out and have fun with them.So I dialed the number and a second later, I heard Terra's soft voice. “Hello?”“James is that you?” She asked with pleading in her voice. And rather than responding immediately, my mind ran in circles. Who is James? “Hellooo??” “It's not James, it's Ross Anderson.” I stood up from my seat and stood by my window which had the city view and the bright sunl

And when will I have Grandchildren? Have you thought about me? Look at a gem I have presented to you for years and we keep having this conversation again and again…” Stressed lines formed on my mother's forehead and I just stared at her with a goofy smile. “I had a gem but you ruined it. So think about that when you go back home.” She shook her head at me and stormed out

TERRA'S POV:THREE MONTHS LATER:“How busy are you? ‘Cause I was thinking we can go out for lunch so I can make it up to you.” Ross suggested, and I rolled my eyes playfully at him. He knew I was mad at him for him being mad at me for worrying too much and stressing out about the kids as it was their first day at a new school. It had just been hard since the welcome party and literally settling in Salandi was hard for me in a way that it was hard for the kids.“I'm actually extremely busy right now, and I will be heading to Nina's trial as today is the sentencing. Later tonight?” I suggested and he heaved out a sigh, obviously displeased at the fact that I was headed to Nina's trial but I needed to be there. I just had the need. Everyone in the golf clubs, and the elites titled the Morris as a pure disgrace, shame and waste. And I truly did not care, as long as my kids and I got

They had been able to give the old woman and her grandson the sum of a million for their help in finding Nina and the family was given the media space to be able to show their appreciation to Ross and Terra, letting them know it will go a long way in pulling them out of the hand to mouth lifestyle they had been living especially since the grandmother was single handedly raising the boy.“Mummy.” Eric called out from his bed with droopy eyes, and she waved at him with a smile trying her best not to wake Eleanour who was finding it hard to close her eyes.Eric was not shot neither was Ross but Terra still requested he stayed

3RD POV:AN HOUR LATER:Asian was drained and tired but she took great compassion on the twins especially Eleanour, seeing her as a young version of Amber who was sad and always needed her. Then they run out to the nearest farm or police station and get help. And safe! This is a solid plan after all …I can do it, what could possibly go wrong? But coming here, it was just the regular day to day activities and then trips during the holiday but coming here made me realize there's a lot more to life. And I just think…everything happens for a reason and I have experienced all I need to here.” The fact that he didn't hold me accountable or become harsh to me made me feel bad for yelling at Ross and his mother…for another person's action.“I have been thinking about moving away as well. Morgan and Sarah have been calling me everyday since they heard of this. TERRA'S POV:A DAY LATER:It had been more than 35 hours since I had last seen my kids and since the kidnapping. A flier with Nina's face had been posted everywhere and according to my friends and Fiona, the entire police force was working on it.But it was just Nina….what was so hard about finding and capturing her?I had just been numb, and I could neither eat nor sleep. Last night, when I couldn't sleep, I snuck out in my own mansion in order to prevent Evelyn, who was literally everywhere, from waking up. I drove in one of my old sports cars, which allowed the cool night breeze to run through my body and blow away the tears which kept flowing and I drove to weird looking areas, banishing the thought that I might be robbed, and showed them images of Nina if they had come across her but they had nothing.A particularly shabby looking man asked for some money before providing answers, feigning that he recognised her and as soon as I handed him money, he tucked it into his pocket and
