TERRA'S POV:

“I'm nervous, any tips? You look beautiful by the way.” He asked and I just scoffed.

“All I can tell you is Goodluck and did you read the instructions on what they like and do not like?” I asked, looking straight ahead and he hummed.

“Okay then.” I rolled up my window, shutting down any other way the conversation was going to continue. It was just two minutes till the kids were done, what else did he want me to say? You can do this? Oh please, I got no goodluck from him when I was raising them.

Soon after, I saw the kids from afar and they had huge grins on their face, so I hopped out of the car and Ross was already out of his own car.

“Hi Mummy.” I bent down and the twins gave me huge kisses on my cheek. Ross was not too far behind as I could smell his cologne, he still had not changed his scent after seven years. I hadn't really changed mine either.

But the fact that nothing about had really changed except he looked a little bit older and was maybe a little bit more

But Tony on the other hand, was being Tony.Everything was set up for the night and guests were already arriving. The paparazzi along with a dozen reporters were standing outside, ready to take photographs and speak to the business tycoons. 3RD POV:Despite how mean the kids were, he understood them and all he wanted was to get close to them and he knew he could achieve the father-son, father-daughter relationship between them. So he was going to keep sending gifts, popping up at their school, taking them to fun places as long as Terra and the twins let him.Tonight he had planned a game of cards and after the day at the park, Terra had spoken to them about being mean and to tune it down a little bit. And they obliged which is why they were nonchalantly sitting next to him while eating the box of pizza he had brought on his way here.He stretched his neck to catch a glimpse of Terra through the kid's iPad and when he did meet eyes with her he was amazed beyond words. The kids had turned around when they heard him say, “Wow.”“Could have been all yours if you were good to her.” Eric pointed out and Grandpa Philip who was watching the news couldn't help but chortle at Eric's comment.‘I think these kids were sent to me to

TERRA'S POV:THE NEXT DAY:I snuggled into my blanket, sitting comfortably on the couch in the living room, stirring my tea repeatedly as the events of last night played in my mind.“I'm sorry.” I quickly apologized but my mood turned sour when I realized who it was. It was no one other than Mrs Anderson's minion or would I say pet, Nina.Of course it would be insane if I didn't meet her up close. But staring at her from head to toe, she looked…almost too simple ... ..too boring and I say that in a fashionista manner and not as a mean girl. She was dressed in horrible looking material that seemed more suitable for a curtain. It seemed the designer only wrapped the material around her chest then sewed it, later on adding straps. “O My Goodness! Terra?!” She spoke literally yelling and calling attention towards us feigning excitement. She was about to hug me but I looked at her like a crazy girl and stepped back. I don't care if there were a few people staring, I wouldn't want to eve

TERRA'S POV:After exchanging goodbyes, I hung up and the smell of food made my stomach growl. The maid informed me it was ready. As I ate my breakfast, I smiled at how great it was and thought about all I could do today. Then I resolved that I would just spend time with my fam…with my kids and see how the new amusement park was.I can't believe I was about to call us a family. I opened my iPad and saw millions of pictures of myself stepping in, leaving, speaking to the audience which I still thought could have given more and I saved the ones I loved the most and continued looking at myself in pure admiration. **********FOUR HOURS LATER:I had let Ross know earlier that I was coming but requested he kept it a secret to the twins. It was currently 2 p.m when I arrived at the amusement park and I was amazed at how many cars were parked. I almost didn't find where to park my Tesla. I was dressed in blue jeans and matching with a white cute top and on my feets were new nikes. I felt cu

NINA'S POV:DAYS LATER…“So what do you think after seeing that lady up close? Is it Terra?” My mother asked as I stepped into the car, after the short interaction with ‘Catherine Williams.'Mrs Anderson, who was seated by the window, looked at me with anticipation. My head was hurting from trying to recall Terra's features and now, comparing it to this lady. Terra was not well off based on what Mrs Anderson had told me, but this Catherine Williams was, according to her net worth on the Internet, a gold mine. And Terra wasn't definitely as cocky as this woman was, she was humble, pathetic and dumb. But aside from that, they had such a striking resemblance with different hair length and color. “I don't know...I don't think so. They do look so different except with very different behavior.” I responded and both women sighed in relief and non satisfaction.“I will have my private investigator dig in.” Mrs Anderson announced in conclusion and I hummed in response thinking back to that la

JAME'S POV:First surprise was utterly pleasant. On Saturday I was amazed, astonished, when I saw Whitney arriving at the dinner party looking different. She dressed differently but she looked precious and perfect, and rather than a regular mean and rude behavior, she was shy and nervous and even sweet. I didn't even know how to act around her and I couldn't even begin to describe how beautifully her body was in that dress, it seemed like it was perfectly made for her.Our entire conversation that night was different and by the end of the night, I almost gave her a kiss but let's just say, I didn't because her regular version terrified me and I feared I was going to get slapped. Now things have been awkward between us all day but she was back to being mean and maybe it was for the best.On another hand, later this week, Ivy and I were ‘supposedly’ going to be meeting the entire Lauder family, my step-siblings, and his wife. But I didn't want to and I was a grown man so I could do what

ROSS'S POV:EARLIER THAT DAY:After having so much fun at the amusement park, I had been filled with a huge wave of happiness and it was more than I can even express. I thought things were finally going to work out just as I pictured but before midnight that day, I was struck by a rude awakening has Terra had switched up from being fun and welcoming to her usual self.Mean, Nonchalant, Seeming irritated by presence, And it felt like she was simply mirroring how I was in the past. It was so hard to get through to her.And the twins also seemed to follow along with her and change in their sweet and loving act to being rude and mean. By night time that day, we stopped by a mall to get things. And though the kids simply wanted something to eat and drink, I saw Eleanour staring at a huge barbie doll house and Eric gazing intently at gaming tools. So I approached them when Terra went ahead to pick a call, “You like it?” I asked and they just shrugged. “If you want it, I can get it for you

ROSS'S POV:“Good morning, Mr Anderson.” Mady was standing by the door looking at me with worry. Her eyes stayed glued to my bare chest making me roll my eyes and walk off.“What's going on?” I questioned walking back up the stairs and she cleared her throat.“Well….there is an issue that has prompted your mum to call me non-stop as well as business associates and shareholders. Oh, let's not forget multiple media houses all wanting a statement or anything they could publish either to clear the air or add to the heat.” She spoke loudly as I was now upstairs getting dressed and based on how well I was hearing, I knew she was by the stairs.“What's the issue now?” I grumpily inquired, buttoning up my shirt and she suggested, “Sir, I think you should just check it yourself when you're done.”So I heed to her advice and took my time to get dressed and after spraying my cologne, my eyes went wide as a thought crossed my mind. “Does it have anything to do with kids?”I went downstairs watchi

TERRA'S POV:THREE MONTHS LATER:“How busy are you? ‘Cause I was thinking we can go out for lunch so I can make it up to you.” Ross suggested, and I rolled my eyes playfully at him. He knew I was mad at him for him being mad at me for worrying too much and stressing out about the kids as it was their first day at a new school. It had just been hard since the welcome party and literally settling in Salandi was hard for me in a way that it was hard for the kids.“I'm actually extremely busy right now, and I will be heading to Nina's trial as today is the sentencing. Later tonight?” I suggested and he heaved out a sigh, obviously displeased at the fact that I was headed to Nina's trial but I needed to be there. I just had the need. Everyone had been totally stunned hearing that Mrs Morris had killed herself and it was all over the news. Everyone in the golf clubs, and the elites titled the Morris as a pure disgrace, shame and waste. And I truly did not care, as long as my kids and I got

So freaking useless!” She hit the television stand in anger and shook her head.“I have already lost. I have nothing again, no way to clear my name out of Nina's stupidity. I failed as a mother, as an elite woman in society, as everything. He hadn't closed his eyes ever since the kids were kidnapped. It had been a rough twenty four hours for everybody and for Ross's little family, it had been a rough 72 hours. They had been able to give the old woman and her grandson the sum of a million for their help in finding Nina and the family was given the media space to be able to show their appreciation to Ross and Terra, letting them know it will go a long way in pulling them out of the hand to mouth lifestyle they had been living especially since the grandmother was single handedly raising the boy.“Mummy.” Eric called out from his bed with droopy eyes, and she waved at him with a smile trying her best not to wake Eleanour who was finding it hard to close her eyes.Eric was not shot neither was Ross but Terra still requested he stayed

3RD POV:AN HOUR LATER:Asian was drained and tired but she took great compassion on the twins especially Eleanour, seeing her as a young version of Amber who was sad and always needed her. Which is why she was more than happy when she saw that Nina had left a glass cup on a high table where farmers usually kept stuff for their animals and it was next to them. Her plan was simple, hit it repeatedly till the glass shatters to the floor, afterwards she would move in her seat and with her back facing away, she would hand Eric the glass to unloose the ropes on his hands carefully, afterwards he would unloose both hers and Eleanours. Then they run out to the nearest farm or police station and get help. And safe! This is a solid plan after all …I can do it, what could possibly go wrong? Asian thought to herself, and like an annoying best friend, her mind pictured all the different possibilities of what could happen.“I'm going to try and get us out of here.” She mumbled and the kid's mouth

TERRA'S POV:“No…It's not your fault. I came out for work and for you and I met the love of my life and became a member of a very problematic family, but I guess all families have their own issues. But coming here, it was just the regular day to day activities and then trips during the holiday but coming here made me realize there's a lot more to life. And I just think…everything happens for a reason and I have experienced all I need to here.” The fact that he didn't hold me accountable or become harsh to me made me feel bad for yelling at Ross and his mother…for another person's action.“I have been thinking about moving away as well. Morgan and Sarah have been calling me everyday since they heard of this. And I totally feel the same way you felt about here and Aurenia except I didn't find the love of my life here.” We both chuckled weakly and he responded, “Yeah okay.”As they both discussed more about moving back, unbeknownst to them Ross and Evelyn, who was bringing breakfast, ove

TERRA'S POV:A DAY LATER:It had been more than 35 hours since I had last seen my kids and since the kidnapping. A flier with Nina's face had been posted everywhere and according to my friends and Fiona, the entire police force was working on it.But it was just Nina….what was so hard about finding and capturing her?I had just been numb, and I could neither eat nor sleep. Last night, when I couldn't sleep, I snuck out in my own mansion in order to prevent Evelyn, who was literally everywhere, from waking up. I drove in one of my old sports cars, which allowed the cool night breeze to run through my body and blow away the tears which kept flowing and I drove to weird looking areas, banishing the thought that I might be robbed, and showed them images of Nina if they had come across her but they had nothing.A particularly shabby looking man asked for some money before providing answers, feigning that he recognised her and as soon as I handed him money, he tucked it into his pocket and

Tell me where are you now and what do you want?” Ross asked with desperation and the other line remained silent.“WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?” He shouted in anger, making Chandler jump a bit.“Hello? Who is this? I just found this in the dumpster ... .What did this woman do though I don't have a television so I need some drama?” Ross clung to his hand with so much force, Chandler thought he would crush it so he quickly collected it from Ross.“Okay…okay…A dumpster where?
