Zach drove into his territory which had a weird but comforting ambiance. The road was covered with fallen dried leaves the both sides of the road were covered in wood. The gentle breeze from mother-nature was sending down more leaves and Aramina stretched out her hands unconsciously to get hold of one of the leaves.
Zach looked at her relaxed face and a complicated look crossed his face. He pushed a button in the car and the roof of the car opened, she turned to Zach to know if he actually noticed her trying to reach out for the leaves but Zach kept a straight face and focused his attention on his driving.
Weird guy, but thanks for the consideration she thought as she lifted her hands and grabbed some leaves.
They drove for a mile before entering what seemed like an estate. Surprisingly, it was busy, Zach immediately covered the top of the car and drove slowly into the estate. People stopped and bowed as he drove by. He didn’t bother acknowledging them, but instead, wind up his car louvers. He drove toward a mysteriously gorgeous-looking house.
“We’re here,” he said.
She wondered what a place like this would be doing in the middle of nowhere. Noticing the confusing face she made, he continued
“It’s the pack house I built only for my pack and the location is still unknown to the outside world and most packs” Aramina loved the place.
When they came down from the car, he walked towards an old fountain that has no water spreading out of it and stepped on a circular stone. A walkway that was hiding under the fallen leaves came up leading to the entrance porch.
“Walk with me” Zach stated.
As they were walking towards the house, she noticed that the fog was covering the atmosphere.
Is this my imagination or a coincidence that the fog came immediately after they stepped foot on the walkway? she asked herself.
Zach opened the door and Aramina gasped in awe; the interior wasn’t the same mysterious look she got from the entrance... It has a modern interior; the walls were coated with white oil paint and the stairs were constructed as a floating stairs with a wooden handrail. The TV wall had a touch of wood as well and the ceiling had drops of artificial moon and stars hanging around.
“This is totally different from what I imagined” she murmured.
“I know, you imagined that we lived in the woods right” Zach looked at her, barely concealing his amusement as she guiltily hid her face.
“This is the place where I meet with my pack leaders to make decisions,” he said as he opened the door to what looked like a conference room, “we have a banquet hall at the other side of the building, but for now, come, let me show you your room”
“This is my room” Aramina opened and closed her mouth in awe. It was thrice the size of her stepmother’s room.
“Zach, I feel this is too much”
Zach’s heart bled. He looked at the beautiful woman the goddess had granted him as his mate. Her eyes sparkled with joy and surprise, as something in his heart shifted, he moved closer to her, more to feel her warmth and perceive her scent than to talk to her.
“Come, let’s get you settled, I have a meeting this night. She turned and looked at him, her eyes filled with questions, he knew she wanted him to tell her what the meeting was all about, but like hell, he will.
He kept her bag by the closet and turned around “owf…what the…” he had not expected her to stand so close to him, “are you okay”, he asked peering at the dazed look in her eyes
“You smell nice, like, it’s different from your normal scent, it’s too familiar and soothing; you smell like the earth after the rain and a whiff of roasted nuts”, Aramina replied, looking lost
Zach looked at her, he knew she felt the connection as the mate bond was working, he felt elated but he still couldn’t help feeling sad for this pretty woman the moon goddess has given to him; for her hurt, for her lost identity, he felt like paying everyone who has hurt her.
“Rest Mina, Karen will come to pick you up by eight,” he said gently as he headed to the door
She suddenly looked at him, he could still see the confusion in her eyes.
“Where are we going she asked?”
Zach looked at her mysteriously, “It’s a secret” he stepped out and closed the door behind him.
***************
Aramina cocked her hair as she involuntarily closed the door, she suddenly missed him and his scent. She didn’t understand this sudden longing for Zach; she has always acknowledged that he was handsome. His six points three feet in height and dominating aura spoke to power, and his broad shoulders bespoke reliance and dependence.
But it was this scent that she was unfamiliar with, she knew intuitively that it was the mate bond Zach had told her about earlier. it made her think things she had no business thinking. She yearned for him, for his lips suddenly touched hers and his hand, what will it feel like to have those large hands on her body, caressing her and going down her
...knock knock… her eye flew open as she suddenly snapped out of her imagination.
Karen stepped in smiling “welcome home Mina”.
She suddenly sniffed the air and with a knowing smile looked at Aramina “you are as red as a tomato, what were you thinking?”
Aramina turned redder from embarrassment
Karen busted out laughing, “Don’t worry, you will soon get used to it, we wolf blood love sex, we have no inhibitions, and we sure are animalistic in the act”
Aramina closed her eyes with her hands and ran into the bathroom closing the door to Karen’s laughter.
“You look beautiful Mina,” Karen said happily, she applauded herself for a job well done. It had taken her two hours to dress Mina up for Zach’s surprise.
She turned the chair towards the mirror and Aramina let out a gasp of surprise, she hadn’t looked more beautiful. She wondered if Zach will find her beautiful like this, but then, why did she suddenly want him to find her attractive
“Thanks, Karen”, she said sincerely, no one has ever accepted her as Karen did.
She stood up and sashayed before Karen.
“Wow… “
They both turned towards the voice and saw Caleb at the door, “Zach will definitely be wowed’.
“What are you doing here,” Karen asked
“Zach told me to bring her”, Caleb replied smiling mischievously
“That was my duty”, Karen complained, “what stunt did you pull this time Caleb”. She said looking at Caleb suspiciously,
“Sorry dear, office duty calls for you... Shall we, Luna”, Kaleb said turning to Aramina who blushed to the roots of her hair as Karen scowled behind them as they left.

The figure stepped into the basement as the sound of loud music gradually disappeared, after two turns, he got in front of what seemed like a wall until he pushed a statue above, the wall slid open to reveal a well-lit room, and the figure stepped in and walked towards his target, his face bore the sinister look of a predator as he grinned at his target whose eyes widened with fear.
“Please, please…I’m sorry, just let me go” she whispered in fear. Her lips were already patched from thirst and her body bore the signature of one who has been abused physically and sexually.
“Tsuk tusk…you hurt my feeling pretty, I thought we’d gotten along well” the figure smiled, evidently enjoying the fear he beheld on the woman’s face, he could hear her heartbeat erratically from fear of him.
He approached her and gently caressed her hair, “didn’t you miss me Cee, I came because I missed you, so…much. Stop shaking,” he ordered her frowning, “I don’t bite. I said stop shaking”, he shouted as he angrily slapped her across her face.
His face looked immediately apologetic as he examined her face, “ I’m sorry, it’s just that you are disobeying me again” the woman whimpered, “I told you the alpha wasn’t for you but you refused and went with your so-called mate, I won’t have you disobey me again, now stop shaking”, he growled as he forcefully poured water into her mouth.
He pulled a chair out and sat down,
“I met someone today Cee, she has your eyes and she is witty, you might meet her soon if you are a good girl for I intend to claim her as mine, and do you know the twist? she is Zach Toople’s mate” he smiled and relaxed on the chair as his eyes turned dreamy.
“Where are we going to Caleb?” Aramina asked, she wasn’t really a fan of surprises because she had a bad experience from a prank her stepsisters had pulled on her when she was young.“Zach said not to tell you” Kaleb answered looking sheepish.Aramina glared at him and looked out the window. They drove into the airport,“My job here is done,” he said as he led her to the entrance of the private jet, do go in”. Aramina climbed up the stairs, a hostess smiled at her and said, “Mr. Zach is waiting for you ma”.Aramina stepped into the cubicle and saw Zach; he was on a call apparently speaking to someone from another country since he was speaking a different language, as he felt her presence, he turned and suddenly stopped talking. He looked at her with a look Aramina could not decipher, it was so impossible to read the emotions in his eyes; he got off the call and purposely worked towards her.As he came in front of her, he stood for a few seconds before he said “you look beautiful Mina”
Hello readers Thank you for sticking till this time... It gets better with every chapter. Please do like and comment on what you think about the characters. ********* Aramina glared at him, his heartbeat did not change, and he just stood their reciting his words as if they were rehearsed “I know you don’t mean what you said, but I will tell you what you did wrong, you should have pretended like you didn’t know, I’m already embarrassed that you guys seem to know all about my state of living, my illness is the only secret I had and you went and dug it up” Zach blinked in surprise ‘was this lady for real’, “Ok, no more digging” he closed the gap between them and kissed her forehead “I’m sorry okay! Now come, so we won’t be late” Aramina looked at him for a while, she still couldn’t understand this yearning for this arrogant man “Ok, let’s go”. Zach heaved a sigh of relief as she walked back to the car. It took him a few moments before he realized that he apologized to her. Sh
A few miles from the building, she saw the landscaping of the site; hedges cleanly trimmed in an up-side-down form, wired with different colored tiny lights, The driveway was filled with red petals which drifted scattered as they drove in, and sculptures of different persons were placed at the center of various water fountains in the compound. The expression on her face showed that she wanted to know things about the sculptures. As they turned to a corner, she saw a huge white castle with pergolas crawling on the walls. She was super excited, that she forgot her initial squabble with him. Zach packed the car in front of the castle, came out of the car and opened the door for her to come down. He offered his hands to her and walked her into the castle. He had a scowl on his face, like someone who swallowed a bitter pill, but Aramina was too happy to actually bother with the look on his face, not as if he had ever smiled.Everywhere in the castle was dark and Zach told her to wait at
He tasted just like she had thought; earth after the rain and a sprinkling of honey. She could feel his body tensing for like five seconds. "I’m sorry, I didn't know what came over me", she said as she broke the kiss, she was reeling from embarrassment. “Excuse me,” she said as she tried to stand up and walk away, but he let out a growl and held her waist forcefully causing her back to hit his front, her eyes widened as she felt something poke her back, she wasn't naive enough to know that he was aroused ‘... Wait, aroused...’ She turned and snapped up her head to look at him but he immediately clashed his mouth into hers, sucking her lower lips senseless, as his hand moved to cup her buttocks, she felt the sparks again, and as she opened her mouth for air, he delved in, forcing her to submit to his tantalizing taste. This time, the sexual tension was real and as their tongues clashed, Zach pulled her to him like he wanted to meld her into him. Maybe, it was the champagne but she
Aramina woke up feeling a slight irritation on her lap, she looked at the scar and was surprised to see it gone, like it was never there. What d hell happened to it?She looked at her side and found out that Zach was gone. She could hear the shower running, as the events of last night flooded her mind and she blushed furiously. She had never behaved so spontaneously, but with Zach, she kept acting out of character. She blushed furiously when she remembered how she came on his hands.Zach stepped out of the bathroom, already fully clothed, Aramina frowned, secretly, she had been hoping to see him half-naked.Last night, he had held her hand and prevented her from removing his cloth.“Are you already leaving”, she asked anxiously,“No, I have to meet with Caleb over something. Have your bath and get ready, we leave in an hour”. He approached her on the bed, kissed her forehead, and left.Aramina had expected a more romantic morning, ‘had they not shared a night together?’ Zach's cold an
Aramina dressed up for her movie night, she loved watching movies especially if she didn’t know what to expect from the movie. Dressed for the night, she skipped out. As Blake drove her to the cinema, she thought about Max’s conversation with Zee. She didn’t like that they agreed to go out, not that she was jealous, but she knew that Zee was manipulative and was definitely bad for a sweet person like Max. She had not meant to hear their conversation but she couldn’t help but overhear as she walked away. Zach stood at the entrance of the cinema in his work attire, he noticed the ladies’ eyes on him as they passed by, they were really eyeing him like candy, which was irritating, he was swearing off candy for the rest of his life. How could mina compare his handsomeness to candy, a small smile crossed his face as he remembered her face at his embarrassment. He had never shown such vulnerability to anyone since he was fifteen. He knew it was no longer the mate bond, he was getting fond
***sadist content***Zach stopped in his tracks, there was only one witch that the werewolves dared not call by her name,He turned to Rib, his aura getting deadlier as he walked to wards him,"what witch," Rib swallowed hard, "the late...” suddenly his body was flung up and he fell a few feet away from his former position, suddenly turning black.Zach looked at the corpse for a few seconds before turning to beta Bryon, "what witch” he asked, Beta Bryon was in a fix, he didn’t know who to fear, the merciless witch who just dried up his second for trying to turn on her or the dangerous looking Zach."I can’t tell you." He said defiantly. Zach wasn't going to take no for an answer, not when it had to do with witch craft and his mate, “so be it, I hope you die knowing that you messed with the wrong Alpha.” He quickly snapped Bryon’s hear, and tore it away from his body.“What the hell...” Aramina gasped as her phone fell in the ground.***************Aramina soon got bored in th
By the side of a dimly lit room, a child huddled by the corner, his body bled from stripes of cane. He was naked and frightened. He had arrived here over a year and it seem like no one was ready to get him out of this place. He couldn't understand why he had to go through this pain.“Mama” he cried out quietly as frightened tears poured out of his eyes. The door to the room opened and a girl in a floral dress walked in. She looked a few years younger than him. As she stepped closer to him, he let out a growl, warning her to keep away, but she seem to be more interested in him than his warning because she stopped in front of him and before he could talk, she laid her hand on his shoulder. Immediately, the bleeding stopped, the wound did not visibly heal but he felt a fuzzy feeling that the pain had stopped. His eyes widened at her but she smiled brightly,“I hope you don't feel pain again.” She said, looking genuinely concerned for the crying child“Thank you”, the beaten child whisper
Karen slowly walked up to the witch, she was still as beautiful as ever, but Karen knew better, her insides were nothing like her beautiful shell, she was deception in human form. It had taken her a while to find her, she was surprised that she hadn’t moved across the world to avoid Zach, but again, Sabrina was pompous and she often left a mark wherever she went. Everything about the bitch was bad news, but they had to admit that she was one of the best witches the pack had ever had. “What do you want, Karen” Karen smiled, the coldness in the witch’s voice did not hide the fear she felt. Halting, she smirked coldly, “come on Sabrina, that is not a way to greet an old friend.” She slowly walked in circles near the witch, she had never liked Sabrina, the witch was one manipulative bitch that often got Anita in trouble. Looking around the room, she could not help but smile in satisfaction. The room was definitely like a hermit’s place. A far cry from Sabrina’s choice of an ideal room.
Aramina blinked at him, her demeanor changing, she couldn’t believe what he was implying, “ is that what all this is about, you...you...think I ... a...am too close to Max,” she stammered not really ready to articulate his assumption. “How dare you?” She finally screamed out, “you know what, you are crazy and I will be a fool to listen to this gibberish coming out of your mouth,” she said and opened the door to leave,“where the hell do you think you are going, it is already past two and everywhere is pitch black, damn it” he said as he closed back the door and successfully locked her in, she struggled with him even though she knew it was of no use as she bit down the tears that were threatening to seep down her eyes. She woud be a fool to cry in front of this handsome but foolish and clueless mate...how could he, after everything they shared, he threw such words at her, she was angry and frustrated. She tried again to unfasten the seatbelt which he held in place with just a hand,“L
A free chapter to thank you for hanging on ... As they drove off, she instinctively knew he was angry and with the way he calmly led her to the car, they were not up for argument. But she ignored the frosty atmosphere, “why are you not asking me what I was doing there?” she asked him. He glanced at her and continued driving, “seriously, are we doing the silent treatment now? Look, Max is my friend, practically the only one who talks to me at school and there was no way I couldn’t have answered him when he called.” Zach’s hand tightened on the wheel, he really was not in the mood to banter words with her. Clearly, she didn’t know who Max was in this world, he couldn’t stop imagining the tense atmosphere when he stepped into Max’s office. “I really think Max is innocent, why don’t you investigate properly before suing him, I mean, his company isn’t as big as yours and could easily crumble under your attack, I have lived with my step sisters and I have watched them do things that I la
Zach came in late, he was really exhausted from the press meetings and paperwork he had been handling for two days now. He came back late, so he did not want to bother Mina, but he had missed her. She was the only one that can give him a bit of strength, so he thought of just going to her room and cuddle, just cuddling and perceiving her soothing scent. but first, he had to eat. He entered the kitchen and made an omelet for himself. “Sir,” Blake called quietly from the kitchen entrance. Zach turned around, from the look on Blake’s face, he knew that he was not going to like whatever news he brought for him. “What is it, Blake,” Zach asked seriously. “Ma’am left twenty minutes ago,” Zach growled as he looked as his watch, this is 10:30 pm, “where did she go to?” Blake hesitated, he had tried to stop Aramina but he could not use brute force on the future Luna, plus she was a piece as she threatened him. “To see Alpha Max, Alpha” “what” Zach said immediately dropping the last bit
“You are stupid and dumb” Max shouted at his Strategy manager. He had just returned from Ara’s school to hear that one of Zach’s secretaries who had been helping them sabotage Zach’s business have been arrested and that the police had called in his strategy manager in for questioning. “You were not supposed to be caught, you moron. You are useless. You were set up by a fucking woman and caught. Just a simple task, a simple freaking task and you couldn’t fulfill it. Fool,” he screamed throwing the files on his table at him. The manager groveled on the floor pleading with Max, “Please sir, I’m sorry.” “Get the hell out of my office and consider yourself fired.” Max knew that if the police had arrested Zach’s secretary, it means that Zach was onto him. “Gather up all files related to Bando Steel and Riz motors that have my signature in them and trash them. Get someone to forge manager Ralph’s signature and append on the ones yet to be signed,” he instructed his HR manager over the la
“You sure prepared well,” Aramina said, chuckling as she walked into the room and realized that Zach had set up candle lights and had bought buckets of popcorn. Zach looked down, Aramina could swear that he was blushing“Just go shower while I choose a movie” Zach saidAramina nodded and headed to the bathroom. As the water poured over her body, she thought about Alpha Recdolf and what they discussed, Theia had not still responded raising her suspicion, and then again, the Zee and Max issue. A lot of things were going on and it seem like she and Zach were thrown into the midst. She love the harmony between them now and she had no intention of destroying that. “Mina” Zach called from the room, she started and realized that she had spent more time than necessary.“Coming” she answered clean her body and threw on Zach’s polo she saw neatly folded near the closet and rushed out.Zach looked up and his thoughts about a movie vanished. Aramina stepped into the room looking portably sexy. H
“Are you okay ma'am," Blake asked looking at Aramina from the rear mirror,"I'm okay, thank you".The story Alpha Recdolf had spun on her was a pure tragedy, no comic relief. She knew she liked Zach well enough to just up and leave because of some scary childhood tragedy.“Theia," Aramina called to her wolf, but Theia was quiet, "you can't ignore me forever, you know."She breathed out as the pack house came into view. She was comfortable here, she loved the new Zach she was interacting with now, and she knew he loved spending time with her. The attraction between them was not something she could just throw away because of some bad luck in the past. She smiled as she saw Zach standing in front of his house, she knew she was a few hours late and she was surprised he wasn't blowing up her phone yet. As Blake stopped the car, she flew out and gave Zach a hug. He responded almost immediately, pulling her closer to him as he buried his face in her head."I missed you," she said snuggling c
Aramina looked at the man sitting in front of her, she looked nothing like him, his pupils had the enchanting gold that she was starting to get used to, his hair was midnight black and even when it seems his eyes were sad, and it had the seriousness of one who had seen the worst of life.“What do you want to say to me, Alpha Recdolf?” she asked him.She could hear his heart quicken as he stared at her.“Chloe” he saidAramina scrunched up her face in confusion, “what”, “It’s Chloe, that’s what we named you before we saw you.” Alpha Recdolf looked at her. Aramina could see the longing and regret in his eyes.“Your mother was always sick on the sixth month of her pregnancy, I couldn’t understand why, most wolves didn’t even see pregnancy as a task to feel sick on, but her own was separate, the whole of the sixth month was scary. Sometimes, she would stop breathing and only her warm body will signal that she was alive. She had your fiery personality, so she fought. After watching her on
"Try it again," Aramina’s stepmother, Grace told the shop attendant. This was the third shop so far and she was already frustrated."I think the account is frozen ma. You can go and visit the bank to confirm." the shop attendant told her, looking at her sympathetically, and handing over the black card to her.“That is not possible, I have been using this account for years" She exclaimed in shock.Grace stomped out of the shop angrily, she headed for her hotel, and with the way the card was behaving, she needed to travel back to Crescent Hill and get this sorted out. As she got to the hotel, she demanded her key card but the receptionist reminded her that she had not renewed her payment for the day since she upgraded her room two days ago.Grace gritted in frustration, she told them to bring down her luggage and the receptionist pointed to the corner of the hall.Grace glared at her angrily, picked up her bag and left. She was lucky she booked a one way return ticket.Aramina entered s
