Chapter Four

I was just eight-years old when I my father came back to our home. Yes, he left us for the Bruse Mafia. He worked there for years, he use all his knowledge to work to them but because of changes, he decided to leave that organization. And of course, the consequences of that, he'll die. And so as my Mom. But little did we know, before that tragedy happened, when he came back, he introduced Freyia as my step-sister. 

Ever since, we never got close to each other. We are not alike. We're really different that what makes us avoid each other. 

And, I hate her. Err, even know. Nothing change though. She's always competing with me. She's really persistent that she can win against me. I think her mind's kinda something. Why did she think that I'm different from her? I mean, yeah. We're different on what things we like but we are the same. We're both a great agent. Why does she doesn't knew that?

We're all the same here. We have the same things in our mind. We have something we want to fight for.

They're always thinking that I'm higher than anyone. Heh, pathetic. They're all dumb. Little did they know, I'm always looking down on myself for not able to save my parents.

"Apologize to her, later. "

"What if I don't? " I asked.

"It's up to you though but, I'm gonna say this. You really have to apologize to her. Well, it's you, in the end. You'll regret something. "

"I don't get you... " I whispered.

"You'll know soon. "

There's a silence between us. We didn't intend to speak after. We stayed silent for a minute. Later on, we both heard a many footsteps around. And, I just realized some of our agents running through something. 

"Really? They're here? " I heard the one agent said.

"Uhm, excuse me. What's happening? " I asked.

"The heads are here. All of them, " she answered. 

I blinked twice. 

They're here! That means... She's here too! 

"Klein! Let's go! "

"Huh? "

"Celestina's there too! "

In the end, he just let me to grab his hand and just go with the flow. We followed the other agents and when we got in ground floor, we stand in line.

"Give 'em a way! Give! Give! " Someone shouted.

"Everyone, bow your heads! " 

"Do we need to do that? " I asked Klein.

"Of course. They're our superior, " he answered.

"Superior my *ss... " I whispered. 

Here in Es Sorores Agency, we never seen anyone in our heads of their full face. They're always hiding their faces with a black mask. When I saw them walking in the way, I roamed my eyes to find Celestina and there! I saw her!

When they're entrance ended, I went somewhere. This is where Celestina and I place's.

Celestina is my cousin in my father's side. And since my father have three brothers, she also have the same surname as mine. Hudson, that's it. When my parents got killed, my Aunt helped me. Her mother, to be specific. But since they intend to meddle that incident, they got killed too. So, technically we are both left by our family. 

I waited her for a minute and finally, she showed up.

"Oi, my dear cousin! " I happily said. But, when she reached me, she slap my face so hard.

"What?! Why did you slapped me?! " I asked.

"I already said, Xeena that don't make a fight with Freyia! You're the one who should let your pride down! You know her! She's dumb and can't understand even a little thing. So, understand her instead, " she said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Oh, c'mon. I don't really want to have a fight with her. Look, I want to live here peacefully. But earlier, I saw her in the main head's office. She's talking to someone with the codename 'H'. And, I don't know why she told it about our mission, " I answered.

Her forehead creased. Oh well, maybe she's curious too. 

"Come again? "

"I don't want to say it again. Tsk, you deaf? " 

"Freak you, Xeenalah! What's the codename again? " 

"H... "

"A letter? "

"Uhm, I'm not sure. Maybe some symbol from elements… "

"Or initial… " She added.

"Maybe or I don't know. "

"Good thing you said that to me. Freyia's have the same blood as ours but we don't know anything. We can't trust that much anyone now. You know, pain change people, " Celestina said. 

Well, she has a point.

"What do you want me to do? " 

"Look after her, that's all. I'll tell you if I'm done gathering some informations. And... " She smiled. "Goodluck on your mission. "

I winked at her.

"Of course. See you, my dear cousin. "

When the day ends, I started walking somewhere in the hallways. It's just near in my dorm so I don't have to worry. Besides, I can walk or run fast as I can if time comes. Well, we have a mission later. While walking, I can't help but to whistle. But, in the midst of that, I suddenly stopped walking when I heard some noises.

I find where that noise comes and I realized it came from the third room of where I am standing at. In full of curiosity, I reached the area. At first, I can hear someone's shouting.

"Could you please lower your voice? Someone might hear you! " I stunt. Is that Klein's voice? Oh yes, it is!

"Fine. But, stop meddling with us, Klein. Oh wait, stop meddling with my plans, " I heard someone answered. My brows furrowed. It's Freyia's voice. 

Why are they here? 

"I'm not meddling you, Frey. I just want to warn you. Xeena's suspecting you now. Don't step up with your plans for now. Just wait a little longer. I know Xeena. She'll look after you. "

"So what? "

"If she knows that, she'll definitely hate you. "

"And? "

"That's that! "

"Tsk, we hate each other for years. There's nothing new on that so it is common for me, for her, for us! " 

My mood's ruined. They're talking about me. Just like Klein said earlier, I should stop knowing something. He doesn't want me to know who is the real enemy is, in other words. I took a deap breathe and immediately left the place.

When I'm far to that place, I saw Agent 66 walking towards my place. I guess, he's ready for our mission later.

"Yow, Agent 44! " He called.

"66..."

"Aren't you ready? " He asked.

"It's still almost an hour before the call time. It's too early. "

"Oh, you're the last-two-minute type of person, " he commented.

"Yeah, yeah. Now, get out of my way. "

"Aye, aye! Ms. Famous agent! " He laughed. I just rolled my eyes at him.

Crazy...

When the call time came, I looked my usual outfit during our mission. It is placed on my bed and I can't count how many times I grimaced to that. Geez. This is what we called, mission-uniform. It is a pair of black jacket, black top and a black slack pants. All covered with black. Well, there's no problem about that because I love black though. But, I hate this uniform. It shows the curve of my body. 

Ah! I hate this!

This what I really hate! I don't want clothes that hugs my body perfectly! But, it has advantage too, and I'm thankful for that. When I'm facing my enemy, specially guys, they're drooling at me. And hell yeah, I tool them down that easily. And, still I hate that.

There's no thrill in fighting an enemy that's drooling over you. I want someone who's gonna play with my tricks and techniques.

Just like Mr. Red eyes.

Yeah, I already named him. But, I don't know why I like him. Not that in romantic way, but in... In... Damn! I am an agent! Why am I falling for someone I don't know?

This is so frustrating!

What if he's my enemy? Err, maybe not. He's justy stalker, I guess. Wait, what?! How can I even get a stalker?! And now, I need to be more cautious on my moves. Specially to Freyia. Mt cousin is right. We can't just trust her because we have this saying, "Pain change people". So, I'll call her my enemy too. Officially. But, anyways...
