Tale 37: Mission

Shane’s lips twitched as he stared at Rai as if he was looking at a crazy person. “Are you kidding me?!” he exclaimed in shock. He can’t help but shudder just thinking about it. “Those are just fairy tales! Children’s stories, get it?” he said and looked at Rai with a big frown on his face. “And you believe in any of them?” he asked as he snorted in disdain. His gaze is obviously showing that he looks down on Rai regarding this matter.

But Rai just carelessly shrugged. “If it was before, then I definitely do not (believe in fairy tales).” He answered. “But, what happened to us now?” he said as he motioned to his female body.

Shane froze as he now recalled it. He looked at his own female body which is the biggest evidence that fairy tales might really exist. Because fiction was based on reality. And this matter that could only be read in fiction happened to them in reality. Thus, what Rai said was a big wake up call to Shane.
