Reiner: Shane, whatever problem that you have, just remember that I will always be here for you, okay? I love you.
Shane’s tears fell as he leaned the back of his head on the cold wall before he hugged his knees. He felt cold, but Reiner’s words made his heart feel warm. He may have already decided to do the mission, but it just hurts when you try to distance yourself to the one that you love.
The door of the comfort room opened and footsteps can be heard approaching Shane.
“You, too…” it was Spade. “Why did you and Rai do this at the same time?” he asked and then sighed.
“Rai…” Shane muttered. His voice is nasally due to him crying. “What’s wrong with Rai?” he asked.
