Tale 108: Father

Noonwink residence.

The taxi stopped in front of a manor and Kaiser paid the taxi driver before he went out. The taxi sped away, leaving two trails of red light in the dark road. Meanwhile, Kaiser turned and looked at the tall black gate before he slowly approached to ring the doorbell. But, before he could touch the doorbell, the tall gates opened.

“Young master Kaiser.” The guard hurriedly greeted in pleasant surprise. He noticed a taxi coming this way until it stopped in front. Then, he was shocked to see Kaiser. “It has been a while.” He muttered.

“Philip.” Kaiser nodded and smiled. “It’s been a while, indeed.” He answered as he stepped inside the vicinity. Then, he took a deep breath. “How’s Serena?” he asked.

The guard closed the gate before he answered. “She’s been fine, and she’s actually asking me about you.” He said.
