Sky and I decided to visit the bayou the next day.

"Hey, Knox," Teddy said, curiosity flickering in his eyes. "You seem really interested in Oxxy. What's up with that?"

I hesitated but decided to confide in him. "I'm worried I might be his dad. I've slept with Essie before."
