Ady's POV

"What happened? Why do you have a cut?"

A few minutes after Damon left, Jasper came. He saw me standing by the door, I followed Damon, but they went too quickly. After Jasper waved at me and went right to their garage, I closed the door. When he knocked and I opened the door, he saw my grandmother and me eating and asked if he may join us.

"Ah, nothing. I'm just stupid," I said.

"Tss, we've only been apart briefly, and you're already hurt. You should propose to me to be your boyfriend so we can be legally together." Jasper said, smiling at me.

I saw Grandma, who seemed to enjoy Jasper's joke.

"Why should I do that man's job..." I said, frowning.

"Do you want me to propose to you?" Jasper asked me.

I glanced at him, and he looked at me intently. For reasons I can't explain, my heart felt tickled. Later, he smiled at me and then scratched his head. "Your answer must be "yes," because I don't accept "no" as an answer."

"Why are you being so demanding? As if you were goi

Ady's POV A blurred man was lying on top of me and kissing me with such intensity that I felt he would suffocate me and steal my breath. Later, he moved his lips away from mine, and I breathed hard. Damn! Because it was so powerful and was a good kisser. I thought my body would catch fire from the overwhelming feeling that engulfed my entire body. His warm tongue glided down my neck as he kissed me, and I couldn't stop moaning as it happened. His kiss continued down my neck. The stiffening in my n*p and the uneasy sensation in my bottom half was true. This is new to me—almost a perfect feeling. "Ady..." Someone's calling me. I turned around. Where did that voice come from? "Ady..." "Agh!" The sensation of his warm mouth enveloped my nip to open my eyes wide. "Ahhhhhh!" "Ady, wake up." I let out a sigh and sat on the bed. I seemed to pant like someone who had just run a long distance. 'That whole thing was just a dream. Damn, it feels real...' "Ady, are you okay?" I looked at

ADY“What are you doing here?”When Jasper came into my room, I was shocked. Before he came to me and looked at what I was doing, I saw him looking around my room.“Because not going to school makes things dull at home.” He told me, “I’ll hang out here. Then what are you doing?”I said, “A project.”He smiled and asked, “Would you like some help?”“I noticed that you felt at ease going out and coming into my room. Next time, I might be shocked when you open the door and see me naked.”Jasper smiled. “Then? Okay, I’ll check on you every day until I see you take off your clothes.”“You are an actual pervert,” I said.“No, I’m like this because of you,” Jasper replied. “Do you think I still fell asleep when I got home?”My face turned red suddenly as I thought about what had happened this morning.“I love how sweet you look when you blush. So, does that mean you like me?” Jasper smiled.“Cute, my foot!” I said.At that moment, the light went out as we looked at the ceiling. Immediately, J

  • Midnight Howling   Chapter 25: The Mall Incident

ADY "You'd better wear this jacket of mine." We had to go to the store because we were out of candles, and the news said the typhoon might last until tomorrow. When I entered the grocery store and suddenly felt cold, Jasper took off his hoodie and made me wear it. Immediately, I put it on. I smelled Jasper's perfume, which was masculine but not too strong. I feel like a gigantic, hairy bear wearing a hoodie; it envelops my entire body and provides a warm embrace. I could feel the warmth of Jasper's body right away from the jacket. "Thank you. I feel much better." I said, smiling. "You know you'd feel better if you just let me hug you. I'm also hot." Jasper said, smiling at me. "Not just my body, but my skin too." "Aren't you freezing?" I asked because I was a little worried about him. Even the people who work at the store are wearing jackets. "It is not easy for me to get cold," Jasper said as he touched my cheeks. I couldn't help but be surprised because her skin felt warm and

  • Midnight Howling   Chapter 26: The Gloomy Weather

ADY It's almost midnight, but our town and maybe even other places still don't have power. Even though the storm was terrible, Granny's radio, which must have been around my age and ran on batteries, was still working while we watched the news. The storm has completely flooded many locations, making them unreachable. The storm didn't bring wind, but it did bring water and rain that didn't stop for 9 hours. I was on the bed, looking at the candle on the table next to me. "Are you up for a chat?" I jumped out of bed when I heard a voice outside the window. The candle also went out because air from outside could get inside. Right away, I grabbed my phone, and it lit up. Then the candle lit up too. "Did I make you scared?" Standing next to the nightstand, Damon had the lighter he used to light the candle in his hand. I looked up at him. I said, "Y-yes." Damon put the lighter next to his bed. He then took my chair and sat down in front of my drawing table. In the candlelight, he loo

ADY "Jasper..." Jasper slowly turned his face away from me and sniffed my neck. I held my breath because the tip of his nose touched my neck. My entire body experienced an unearthly jolt of electricity in just a fraction of a second. I gulped. "I can smell someone in you who is not familiar to me," Jasper whispered as I felt his warm breath. He hasn't moved his face away from me. Instead, he stared at me, then slid his eyes down to my lips and back to my eyes. "You give him your first kiss." It's not a question, but a statement. I saw his jaw tighten, and his face quickly moved away from me. I had to gasp for air. "What're you talking about? Also, why do you have to get close to me to smell me?" I asked. Jasper didn't say anything, and I felt like I had a pain in my chest from how serious he looked. He looks hurt. Jasper stood up, so I followed him with my gaze until he left my room. "Jasper, come on, the... are you going home?" I heard Granny asking from downstairs. "Yes, gr

  • Midnight Howling   Chapter 28: The Reconciliation

ADY The next day, school started again. Damon was no longer in my room when I woke up, and the note was stuck to my forehead. I got it right away and read it. Our project is done. Can you please follow up with the others at the school later? Bonjour! By the way, I left you some chocolate in your bag. You might want to consider eating it before the ant gets to it. I couldn't help but chuckle and swiftly snatch my bag from the table. I came across a large Ferrero Roche box. 'Sweet!' I placed the chocolate on the table with a smile on my face before heading directly to the bathroom. *** As I stepped out of the house, I was taken aback to see Jasper engaged in a conversation with the same girl he was with yesterday. I experienced yet another discomfort in my chest. I released a sigh and strolled out of the gate. "My loves!" I heard Jasper calling out to me, but I didn't respond. I quickly made my way to the corner to catch a tricycle. It wasn't until later that I realized I had b

  • Midnight Howling   Chapter 29: The Undefinable Feelings

ADY 'Oh my god, he's too close...' I couldn't take my eyes off Jasper. Even he looked right into my eyes like he could see my soul. Even his warm breath was close enough for me to feel. And that scene we were in seems like something I've only seen on TV. "Jasper, what are you doing?" I asked him, avoiding noticing my stuttering voice. Jasper suddenly smiled, and he let go of me. When he put one of his hands behind his head, I saw his ear turning red. "Did I surprise you?" Jasper said, smiling. I said nothing and just kept looking at Jasper. Jasper stopped smiling and rubbed his nose bridge with a finger. "I won't kiss you even if I want to if I know you don't want to," Jasper said. "OK, just go inside," he said. I can't believe that this kind of man still exists. He had a chance to kiss me, but he held back. For some women, it might be an insult, but for me, it has a huge effect. Instead of making me angry, he impressed me. A man like him still doesn't need to prove that "he ca

  • Midnight Howling   Chapter 30: The Confrontation

ADY "Ady, wake up." Most of the time, I don't skip classes, but what those girls did to me earlier made me not want to go to my morning classes. I'm not going to class today because of this bad guy, Damon. We were supposed to be leaving school, but it appears we will be spending the day in the library. But it's okay; the library is cold and quiet, which is why I fell asleep. First, I opened my eyes, then I rubbed the back of my hand over my lips to wipe away the spit. Then I stretched my arms out wide. I asked, "Is it already night?" Someone chuckled. "Not yet, but lunch is coming up. Come on over for lunch." Damon looked at me while he sat down next to me. That reddened my face. Stretching my arms and rubbing saliva on my lips while I slept made me look like an idiot. I forgot Damon was with me. "You're turning pink..." Damon said. "Always be yourself. You're adorable." "Cute, my feet!" I snarled at him. "Oh, you might have taken a picture of me?" "What's the point?" He asked

  • Midnight Howling   Epilogue

Ady's POV I got a tight hug from my grandmother after I got my medal a cum laude and graduated from the architecture course. A lot happened, and everything was memorable. I thought I wouldn't be able to graduate yet, but here I am today, wearing a cap and gown. "Congratulations!" Damon gave me a hug when he saw me. He also wore his graduation gown and waved his diploma and medal at me. Both Ranzel and Zek came up to me. Ranzel hugged me while Zek gave me a flower. His father's old pack became part of Damon's pack. They all accept Damon as their leader. "My loves!" When he saw me, Jasper smiled widely. He brought me flowers and chocolates as a gift. He also gave me a big hug. Jasper's university graduation was last week, so he graduated before Damon, and I did. As soon as Jasper let go of me, Mama Minerva hugged me. I call her mom because that's what she wants me to do. Damon and Mama Minerva are still together, and Uncle Aman and Jasper are together. Jasper put his hand around my

Ady's POV My heart was pounding hard, and I was sure this wolf would find me no matter what I did to hide. It attacked several things in the house to catch me, but I was able to get away, so its growl got louder. I hid behind the ample cabinet and writhed in agony from a leg injury. I also saw the blood on the plant that Jasper put there. I put my hand over my mouth so I wouldn't scream or let out a weak moan that the wolf might hear. As the rustling got closer, it made me even more nervous. My tears kept coming out of fear, too. "Ahhh!" When I heard the voice, my eyes grew wide. I was afraid, but I looked in to see what was happening. "Ady, are you okay?" It was Damon's mother speaking. I saw her standing there with blood on her torn clothes and wounds on her forehead, thigh, and arm. "Y-yes," I said in response to his question. "Stay exactly where you are," Minerva said. Then it suddenly turned into a wolf. She has gray fur and is probably tiny compared to the rest of the pac

  • Midnight Howling   Chapter 89: The Dark Moon

Ady's POV I woke up feeling like a thick blanket wrapped around me. That warm, hard stuff felt so good on the skin. Later, it started to move, so I opened my eyes. Even though my vision was blurry, I knew who the man was who hugged me. "J-jasper?" I said weakly. "My loves," Jasper said. His face, which had been blank, suddenly lit up, and he seemed to be thinking deeply. "How're you feeling?" I smiled. "I'm fine." Jasper turned his head away from me and sniffed. "I am sorry you got hurt. I didn't keep my promise to protect you." I lifted my hand and put it on his cheek. "That is not true." "What I'm stating is true because you wouldn't have done this if..." I didn't let Jasper finish his sentence. Instead, I grabbed his neck and pulled him closer to me until our lips touched. It was just a nibbling kiss, but for me, it said a million things that I wanted him to feel. "What's that for?" "For keeping me alive." I smiled at him, and he smiled back. "Jasper!" Jasper and I bot

Jasper's POV "W-what? We're not cousins; we're twins." The response surprised me. "Dad, you're just kidding, right?" Dad didn't say anything and just kept looking at me. I don't know what I will think or feel right now. I smirked. "This looks like something I've seen in a movie. Dad, if you're serious, tell me, son." "I am telling the truth. Jasper, this is not a movie," said dad. "My best friend is Soledad, and my girlfriend is Minerva. Even though we've been together long, she wasn't my imprint. Iago imprinted her. When she found out, she told me right away, and because it was fate, she said there was nothing we could do. I pursued her because she was planning to kill herself. She didn't like Iago, and there were only two ways to eliminate the imprint. Either one of them or both of them died. And to save her from such a sin, I went after her and did everything I could to get her to accept Iago, even though it hurt me a lot. Minerva agreed, but we had promised that we would be each

  • Midnight Howling   Chapter 87: The Alpha: Armando

Ady's POV "D-damon?" When I saw Damon's condition, it made me cry. He's staring at me, but I can only hear grunts because he's a wolf. If Damon is the white wolf before me, Jasper is the white wolf who attacked the black wolf. I was seated next to Damon. "Ahhhh," I exclaimed, trying to sit up straight. I turned to Damon and smiled a little. "I'm not going to die. The wolf bit me and almost crushed my bones. I escaped the wolf's bane." My breathing got deeper. I grabbed just above my wound and bit my lip so hard that it almost bled because I bit down hard on it. It hurt like something was moving inside my wound, and I felt very hot inside, like I had a fever. Because of the latter's canine, I had to gasp to view my wound. Later, the white wolf moved closer to me. He got up weakly and came to me. It was staring at me, so I stroked its head. Its old wounds are healing, and it is a mystery to me. "Y-you're healing..." I whispered. I'm trying to change the way I talk so Damon doesn't

  • Midnight Howling   Chapter 86: The Alpha: Iago

Damon's POV "Hello, son. You make it." I didn't think that my dad would be the first person I saw when I got to the top of the mountain. The air is cold, and fog covers the entire area. "D-dad." Dad chuckled. "Hmm, you don't seem happy. Long time no see." "As far as I can tell, you're not glad to see me. It would be pointless if I hugged you." Dad laughed. Because of wolfsbanes between us, he halted a few meters away. It was like a garden of wolfsbane plants. "How does it feel? Be a Lycan? To be the strongest of all?" he asked. "Did you feel the craving for blood and power?" "Why would you ask? Are you curious to know if we feel the same way?" "No. We'll never feel the same way again. You are different." "Yes, you are right; I am different. Both of us are different." I said. The wind started blowing again, and the smell of wolfsbane drifted through the air. I felt something strange inside my body. I can't explain why. But it's like hot water that starts to boil inside of me.

  • Midnight Howling   Chapter 85: The Meet Up: Iago and Damon

Jasper’s POV "Mom, do you know anything?" We were talking in the kitchen while Dad sent everyone out. Ady, Damon, my dad, and my mom stayed with me. Their expressions were serious, and I got the feeling that no one wanted to answer my questions. I could feel the tension in them, and it looked like Ady and I were the only ones who didn’t know what was happening. "Ady should not be here," Mom said. "Why? She’s my girlfriend, so she’s part of the family," I said. "She’s your imprint?" There was shock at Damon’s question. He glanced at Ady. "Yep, she is." Damon smiled. "I’m relieved." I scowled at what Damon said, but I didn’t pay attention. I looked at mom and dad as if they were talking to each other with their eyes. "You aren’t telling me something. Damon knows something that I don’t. Why are you doing those things? Are you also keeping secrets from me?" I asked. "What’re you talking about, Jasper?" dad asked. "You have no idea, dad?" Dad stared at Mom for a second before tu

Damon's POV "What?" Jasper glanced at me, then at his mother, and then at me again. "I think they were using blackmail," Jasper said. "Yeah, Mama won't go with them because she'll die before that happens," I said. "I must go." "Where're you going?" Jasper's mom asked. "I'll find mom." "You're alone," it asked. "Wait until Aman comes to save your mother." I frowned when I heard Jasper's father's name for the first time. Aman? Is that his name? "There is no need. I'm not part of your pack; you don't have to help them." "But you helped Granny and Ady." Jasper's mom said. "Because they were the reason then, Mama. They were the reason Ady's parents died; they saved them. Now, Ady's grandmother, and she almost died because of them, and because he was a..." "Jasper, if they were the reason, Minerva didn't force them, I'm sure." Jasper's mom said. When she mentioned Mama, she seemed to know her too. "I need you to be considerate, Jasper. She needs help, and I'm sure that even if sh

Damon's POV "What? Blood Moon Twins legend?" Jasper asked. "Well, that's a new one on me. I don't know anything about that story. So there is a legend, and only your mother knows?" I nodded. "It was just a story. I didn't believe it either at the time, but one of the descriptions in the story shows me that the myth is true. I was born a lycan, and it's possible that Jacob was one, too. Like in the story, we were born twins under the blood moon." "Perhaps it's just a coincidence," Jasper said. "Why did his father take Jacob? You said it had only been a few hours since you were born, so Jacob still needs your mother's milk. I'm just curious." "I also have no idea why he took Jacob or how he knew that Jacob was his son." "You mean your mom's ex could have taken the wrong baby? I mean, you're possibly his child and not Jacob's." I didn't speak. I've been thinking about that a lot. Mom said the DNA test showed that my father and I were different, but Armando took Jacob, and I have no
