ADY
"Dad, we're going to sink! What are we going to do? Dad!"
I sat up in bed in shock, sweating and gasping for air. Since the night of the accident, I have repeatedly had that dream. Suddenly, I feel like I'm reliving that night all over again.
"It's just a dream."
"I've missed them. I've missed you, Mom and Dad." I whispered as my tears flowed down my cheeks.

Friday night is the big bash! The first party I've ever been to with my friends is tonight. I wouldn't say I liked how my dress fit so well. My neck and shoulders have been bare since I pulled my hair back. There were clothes on me, but I didn't feel good. On that night, there were a lot of students there, and everyone seemed to be having fun—except me. Social events aren't my thing because I'm a loner.
Substantial sound systems around the party's hall made a lot of noise and got people to sing and dance by mixing up the music. A large food table also has many tasty snacks and drinks.
Someone from my class saw me walking toward the group and said, "Ady, you look beautiful tonight."
I somewhat smiled at him and then turned away. A student gave me wine and made me drink it. I wouldn't say I like wine or other boozy drinks very much, but my friends made me try some bottles they brought in for us to try. After two more sips, I liked it. At first, the taste was so bad that it made me gag. Sweet and sour flavors were wrapping around my mouth like a warm blanket. It tastes like a fruity wine, for sure. I kept drinking it because it was just as addicting as pop. Suddenly, it became my favorite drink.
I exited our table to get more wine when I ran out. I went to the big food table. As soon as I saw what was on the table, I thought everything looked good. This cupcake caught my eye, so I took a bite.
"Hmm," and nodding kept coming out of my mouth. "All things considered, this tastes good."
I reached the end of the long table, where the drinks were kept. Each glass of wine was filled with wine, and I tasted each one. I was looking for the wine juice another student had given me earlier but couldn't find it. Unfortunately, I only grabbed a juice and walked to the closest table. While I was sitting up, I put the juice glass on the table and rubbed my lower thigh. Walking in high shoes is hard because I don't wear them often.
"Great! Now it has blisters!" I complained. "I already told Elsa that I'd be wearing rubber shoes. Damn it. It's going to hurt."
I waited for the party to end while everyone else had fun. After thirty minutes, it was dead midnight, and I was ready to go home. Ice was running up and down my back as I drank the juice. When I felt someone was watching me, it gave me the creeps. My unease wasn't just my imagination, so I turned around to make sure.
Behind the blinds, I could see a guy in casual clothes. I didn't feel comfortable in the dark parts of the auditorium, but his look got to me. I drank juice, which went up my nose instead of my throat. I coughed nonstop and felt like my throat and nose were tickled. Along with my free hand, I covered my lips and nose.
'Damn..'
"Take this."
I heard a man's voice, and a handkerchief appeared before me. The hanky in front of me, his arm, and his face caught my eye. When I saw a good-looking guy, I felt very embarrassed all over. After I turned down his hanky offer, he sat before me. My hand was covering my nose and mouth, so he took it off and wiped it. Shortly after calming down, I stopped what the man was doing.
"Hey, what're you doing?" I asked him as I took the handkerchief from him. My skin, ears, and lips felt like blood on fire.
'God, that's so embarrassing!'
"I'm sorry," he said. "Miss, are you okay?"
I looked at him with interest and surprise. It was like I knew something about his voice.
"Have we met before?" I asked. "I seem to remember hearing your voice somewhere."
He looked at me and said, "Yes, on the train."
Instant jitters came over me when I thought about that day on the train. It was one of the most fantastic days of my life.
"I am sorry about that day." He said, "I was in a hurry, so I couldn't properly introduce myself. My name is Damon."
His words were carried out when Damon extended his hand to me. I looked first at his hand and then at mine. Before shaking his hand, I quickly dried my hand and sprayed alcohol on it.
"You can call me Ady, but my name is Adira." It shocked me how warm his hand was. It feels like I have cotton gloves on my hands. "Oh, your hand feels warm." Damon took his hand off of me. "Are you all right? You may have had a fever."
He said, "I'm fine."
"I'm going to wash your handkerchief and return it to you." Hurriedly, I put the hanky in my bag.
"Did you know there's a superstition that says handkerchiefs are bad luck because they bring on tears?"
"Huh? That is an old belief. Not true."
"I'm sure it's real. You should believe me because I've seen it many times."
He pulled his handkerchief out of my bag and put it in the wine glass he was holding. I was shocked. I didn't say anything; I just looked at him.
'Wow, he is superstitious,' I thought.
Suddenly, I saw him looking at me. He pulled my hair out of my ponytail before I could say anything. It fell over my shoulders. Damon brushed the hairs behind my ear that were falling into my eyes.
'Geez, what is he doing?' I thought.
"You look lovely with your hair down," Damon told me.
I couldn't say anything about his surprise. I couldn't get the words out of my mouth.
"Did I offend you?" he suddenly asked me.
"What? "
Moving closer, he smiled and whispered in my ear.
"I'm being honest. It looks great on you when your hair is down."
Soon after, a repair worker with an industrial electric fan plugged it in. The fan's wind blew my hair around and hit Damon in the face. I fixed my hair quickly and told Damon I apologized for the mess.
"Damon, I'm sorry, I meant to..."
But Damon ran out in front of me. He left so fast that I don't know if he was mad at me.
'What did I do?'

Ady's POV I got a tight hug from my grandmother after I got my medal a cum laude and graduated from the architecture course. A lot happened, and everything was memorable. I thought I wouldn't be able to graduate yet, but here I am today, wearing a cap and gown. "Congratulations!" Damon gave me a hug when he saw me. He also wore his graduation gown and waved his diploma and medal at me. Both Ranzel and Zek came up to me. Ranzel hugged me while Zek gave me a flower. His father's old pack became part of Damon's pack. They all accept Damon as their leader. "My loves!" When he saw me, Jasper smiled widely. He brought me flowers and chocolates as a gift. He also gave me a big hug. Jasper's university graduation was last week, so he graduated before Damon, and I did. As soon as Jasper let go of me, Mama Minerva hugged me. I call her mom because that's what she wants me to do. Damon and Mama Minerva are still together, and Uncle Aman and Jasper are together. Jasper put his hand around my
Ady's POV My heart was pounding hard, and I was sure this wolf would find me no matter what I did to hide. It attacked several things in the house to catch me, but I was able to get away, so its growl got louder. I hid behind the ample cabinet and writhed in agony from a leg injury. I also saw the blood on the plant that Jasper put there. I put my hand over my mouth so I wouldn't scream or let out a weak moan that the wolf might hear. As the rustling got closer, it made me even more nervous. My tears kept coming out of fear, too. "Ahhh!" When I heard the voice, my eyes grew wide. I was afraid, but I looked in to see what was happening. "Ady, are you okay?" It was Damon's mother speaking. I saw her standing there with blood on her torn clothes and wounds on her forehead, thigh, and arm. "Y-yes," I said in response to his question. "Stay exactly where you are," Minerva said. Then it suddenly turned into a wolf. She has gray fur and is probably tiny compared to the rest of the pac
Ady's POV I woke up feeling like a thick blanket wrapped around me. That warm, hard stuff felt so good on the skin. Later, it started to move, so I opened my eyes. Even though my vision was blurry, I knew who the man was who hugged me. "J-jasper?" I said weakly. "My loves," Jasper said. His face, which had been blank, suddenly lit up, and he seemed to be thinking deeply. "How're you feeling?" I smiled. "I'm fine." Jasper turned his head away from me and sniffed. "I am sorry you got hurt. I didn't keep my promise to protect you." I lifted my hand and put it on his cheek. "That is not true." "What I'm stating is true because you wouldn't have done this if..." I didn't let Jasper finish his sentence. Instead, I grabbed his neck and pulled him closer to me until our lips touched. It was just a nibbling kiss, but for me, it said a million things that I wanted him to feel. "What's that for?" "For keeping me alive." I smiled at him, and he smiled back. "Jasper!" Jasper and I bot
Jasper's POV "W-what? We're not cousins; we're twins." The response surprised me. "Dad, you're just kidding, right?" Dad didn't say anything and just kept looking at me. I don't know what I will think or feel right now. I smirked. "This looks like something I've seen in a movie. Dad, if you're serious, tell me, son." "I am telling the truth. Jasper, this is not a movie," said dad. "My best friend is Soledad, and my girlfriend is Minerva. Even though we've been together long, she wasn't my imprint. Iago imprinted her. When she found out, she told me right away, and because it was fate, she said there was nothing we could do. I pursued her because she was planning to kill herself. She didn't like Iago, and there were only two ways to eliminate the imprint. Either one of them or both of them died. And to save her from such a sin, I went after her and did everything I could to get her to accept Iago, even though it hurt me a lot. Minerva agreed, but we had promised that we would be each
Ady's POV "D-damon?" When I saw Damon's condition, it made me cry. He's staring at me, but I can only hear grunts because he's a wolf. If Damon is the white wolf before me, Jasper is the white wolf who attacked the black wolf. I was seated next to Damon. "Ahhhh," I exclaimed, trying to sit up straight. I turned to Damon and smiled a little. "I'm not going to die. The wolf bit me and almost crushed my bones. I escaped the wolf's bane." My breathing got deeper. I grabbed just above my wound and bit my lip so hard that it almost bled because I bit down hard on it. It hurt like something was moving inside my wound, and I felt very hot inside, like I had a fever. Because of the latter's canine, I had to gasp to view my wound. Later, the white wolf moved closer to me. He got up weakly and came to me. It was staring at me, so I stroked its head. Its old wounds are healing, and it is a mystery to me. "Y-you're healing..." I whispered. I'm trying to change the way I talk so Damon doesn't
Damon's POV "Hello, son. You make it." I didn't think that my dad would be the first person I saw when I got to the top of the mountain. The air is cold, and fog covers the entire area. "D-dad." Dad chuckled. "Hmm, you don't seem happy. Long time no see." "As far as I can tell, you're not glad to see me. It would be pointless if I hugged you." Dad laughed. Because of wolfsbanes between us, he halted a few meters away. It was like a garden of wolfsbane plants. "How does it feel? Be a Lycan? To be the strongest of all?" he asked. "Did you feel the craving for blood and power?" "Why would you ask? Are you curious to know if we feel the same way?" "No. We'll never feel the same way again. You are different." "Yes, you are right; I am different. Both of us are different." I said. The wind started blowing again, and the smell of wolfsbane drifted through the air. I felt something strange inside my body. I can't explain why. But it's like hot water that starts to boil inside of me.
