Mira looked at her with already red and swollen Cheeks. She wished that she would go and comfort her. She wanted to take away all her sorrows and tell her that Richard was a good for nothing man. He was the person who despite saving her life made it even worse by his lies.

She didn’t want to hear any more of the mysterious woman but Mark just continued.

“She was his childhood love and they were the envy of every man and woman in town. Richard went as far as blinding an entire museum in her honour. Do you think you can compete with that kind of love?” Mark asked. “Tell me Emily did I do wrong to open your eyes because my little brother was lying to you all this time.”

Emily’s eyes widened even more, she didn’t mean to pay any attention to his words but now he had caught her attention. That love was one of a kind how could a useless no body without a back ground compare to it? Perhaps Richard didn’t tell her because he was still in love with the woman.
