When Emma left, Emily didn’t feel like staying in the back yard anymore, so she excused herself and went to her own bedroom.

The last thing on her mind now was that he promised Richard a surprise which never came through. But the way he was busy she doubted if he would even remember that she wanted to surprise him.

“I will wait for you in the bedroom, I don’t feel very well.” Emily said and started going in to the house, Richard was left alone. She was so saddened by the fact that Emily got jealous and yet he had showed her over and over that she was the one that he loved.
