We stride off the bar and head to the restaurant at Holland fourth boulevard in JacknJill.
We're still in this district ten, I passed plenty of garbage on each pavement, dead vines dangle on the lampposts from side to side, and neon signs and billboards nevertheless shine.
I can smell the steam of street foods in the near alleyways - it surely makes me hungry.
Marina and I only walk to the restaurant to discuss the data that Roland transferred earlier.
Marina passed the entrance of the restaurant before me. The interior of the restaurant was similar to the old diners back then.
She sat down near the exit which is on the left side. The tables were not created of metal but of tough timber as well as the seats.
"My ears are open, speak," She said after flattening the crumples of her blazer.
"The van is gloomy and it was not the same as the other modern vehicles, the plate is ACA 2965, it was a bit blurry and I'm sure that's the plate" I explained after seconds that I take some air.
She set her chin on her hand that is encircled by another hand on the table - she wanted to hear more.
"I didn't tell you to stop, If you wanted to keep the information and that's on you," She said before she called the waitress.
"The 12th Boulevard of Laravel street on the left they took a shortcut to West Nevada and then they proceed to run their wheels out of the hyacinth barricade after passing several districts to move at Twilight City so they hide their ass there but Roland did not give me more footages on their way to the other side," I said.
She listened to my information based on what I have observed from the data before she spoke to the waitress to order.
"We'll have the bestselling dishes as well as the drinks, make sure that they don't make it salty and too pale," She said and then the waitress moved her muscle to scribble down.
"Can I ask what will be your dessert and side?" She glimpses at me and gazes back at Marina.
"We don't want a dessert and the side will be a salad and you?" Marina asked.
"Chips will be fine or Fries instead" I nodded with a smile.
The waitress left.
"Anything else?" Marina raised a question as she place her fingers between her underarms.
"They were alone or they didn't bring any guards on their side, they did not halt their horses but they kept their engine on and they have access to enter someplace to take a shortcut to the barricade but the problem is they kept switching roads" I illustrated.
"They're playing games with us which means they're trying to cover their tracks but not the surveillance footage," She said.
"The other cameras didn't catch the van when they took a shortcut - they must have cut it down or maybe they brought a pirate along" I brush my chin.
"I'll talk to Roland if he got any notion to catch this mouse"
"My ass will come and we need a verification or maybe disguise to enter the other city because they're strict as a cathedral" I leaned forward and then relaxed my muscles to engage more information.
"Fake documents will use it against me if I ever use it as a mask or I will contact the TPD if they have seen a van running around their street" She confesses while her stomach screams for cravings.
"That'll help than risking"
"I recalled that they're slow when it comes to offering assistance that's why I only solve the enigmas alone but yet I always succeed eventually" she took a deep breath before she tells about herself.
"If they don't like helping so we'll help ourselves alone" my nose commences to sniff the floor where the mouth-watering haze comes from.
I'm hungry - I should've eaten breakfast.
"There are these past cases that I didn't solve that is why sometimes I faked it to close the investigation and I cared not to do that again so I will risk my blood to prevail over another one"
"You have me, we can solve this one within a week if possible" I calmly said while she was gazing her eyes at the window - the cityscape was mesmerizing so I gape at it as well.
"If these bastards kept switching paths and migrating for another base, everything will be f*cked up"
"Yes, but in the meantime, we can catch up" I whispered more in a breathy tone and I let my voice involved to the breeze.
The waitress arrived with a plate she carries along with a smile she exhibit.
We ordered the bestselling dishes and it exactly looks like it will place on a bestselling dish from its ititsppetizer and scent.
Mine have fries as a side dish, rabbit porridge on the other side, and a chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy on top as a main dish. Marina already paid the bill but its cash.
"I don't want a see a lady paying bills when going to restaurants and next time I'll pay when we go somewhere," I said.
"How gentlemen of you, you can pay my rent and bills instead" She chortles in the end.
She's cute when she curls her blossomed lips or shows what her real voice is.
"Oh I will my lady," I said before I take a bite from the main dish.
"Tomorrow night I'm not available to talk but I'll help before tonight" I added after I swallowed what I consumed.
"You can as long as you will not say a word to the officer or I'll slit your skin to put your guts out slowly," She said as her brows frowned. I bobbed.
"Tomorrow I'll call support from my friend from Twilight, he's good at conveying and gathering solutions" I declared.
"What will he do to help us?" She asked after seconds running to take a bite of her salad.
"Trading illegally but he's good from not getting snagged by officers"
"The other cases I decipher were easy as a feather and some took me ages and this case might part of it whenever the suspect joins the other ghouls from the other side"
"He can slither away and the only thing we need to aim is where they hide to murder James's children and other victims that are attached to their knife's verge".
She understands my language which is a good thing to happen because if we measured loads of misunderstandings - it is a hundred percent our case will never succeed.
"Alright, I'm almost done and we have to create a thread where they passed by and I'll talk to the warden from the hyacinth barricade if they permit some random van to enter their city," she said.
Oh, they can do that so everything will become manageable.
If we keep asking - we can crack the investigation. Marina and I try to finish our order before going back to WPD.
"Why this metropolis was cut in half?" I was so curious about it so I asked even though she was occupied eating her salad.
"I have no idea but back then, it wasn't like this before and the only reason I know was the twins were madly hate one another so the moment they inherit their parent's seat they decided to cut the home in half,"
"Whom twins we are talking about?"
"The first was Roselee she enjoys staying in the night time that's why she named the city Twilight and the second was Rosalean, she adores seeing snow that's why she name this Winter city"
Wow, it does gives significance but I wanted to learn more about the virus that made people sick but not just that though.
Marina wiped her lips with a tissue beside the flower vase with wither rose inside.
"Can you tell me more about the virus?" I asked once more and she seems pretty annoyed that I kept blabbering like a toddler.
"That's the question that I cannot answer and I told you before to keep your mouth zipped until I say so to open it!" She yelled at the end and then departed to take herself inside her vehicle.
With every breath, she take the more the pace sped up.
A thump formed a thunderstorm beneath the concrete pavements and the zephyr seems modest than before.
The sky barely pull the stars above as the sun haul down slowly but the moment I inspected my watch - it was around four thirty in the afternoon.
She reverses the vehicle after buckling. Rosie Bar still gives a euphoria aura with its lights outside as well as the inside. We left to head to WPD.
She sprints the wheel and lets my body push me against the seat from the acceleration.
That bar should not exist but there's nothing I can do to stop it from existing.
Our eyes cannot wait to get some sleep after several hours that had run off in WPD. Marina was glued to the screen - making a report of every single move we abide she insert that as well. Meanwhile, myself were concentrating on where the van went that might create a pattern inside of my head after I latch them down not to snooze. The van often move forward to uncrowded places and kept turning rights and lefts to scramble their tracks. I realized from the Match your Tea store near the road to district twenty-one - there was another van that conforms to the color and style of the van but the plate wasn't identical. This clean van and the original were separated after they met at James's apartment but they don't stand on the same street but on opposite. So these ugly bastards create asynchronous strategies to trick us. "Marina" I called her but she didn't even give me a look yet still her eyes on the screen. "What?!" Her voice deepens as she tugged her both brows down sout
"WPD Open up!" I yelled while Marina was loading her gun and then hid it beneath her hips. No one answered. "We are here to inquire, open up!" I yelled again but silence welcomed us in. We counted down in a murmur before breaking in with a warrant on our fingertips.I'm the one who will unfurl and she will clear the area as I empty the entrance. The creak of the door made her set and so am I.Everything is chaotic like a beast rampant within the house.Papers everywhere, shattered glasses, and a splash of blood on the ceiling and floor but the body is missing. "What the f*ck happened here?" Marina has been tickled with shock. "They're covering all the tracks they left and looks like we have to find Watson's body before reporting" I calmed myself as we look around. "The warehouse?" "That too" A luxury kitchen in front of the living room, beneath the staircase, is a stocking room, the second footing there exists the master bedroom with no guest room and a ba
"You confident about this assh*le?" Marina asked after slamming the files of what they had committed. I nodded once. My intellect wasn't sure if I got the actual one and yet we are still unraveling where the kids took off by his mobs. My mind split into two. "Why did you plan to take the kids away and murdered the first victim and their parents?" I asked. "So you can see the people you murdered Jonathan," He said with his fist beginning to tighten its grip like he was about to strike. Marina does not care that we know one another because she didn't ask so. "The people who worked for you, why slaying them?" She asked. "Because that's what the Criemsons do as their signature" "Now you want to talk about the mafias huh?" "Sh*t why the fuck he's confessing?" I said to myself. "Jonathan, I know you have some answers there beneath your tongue" He speaks tough once more - he's pissing me off so I invented a lie. She glanced at me with wrath blazing in her
A man with long sleeves and three buttons was not screwed with a suit but fancy pants that every businessman unravels every day to go to work exists. He kicks himself out to stand on the docks to meet another man with a club under his starry evening gloves. Their eyes were sealed with frigidness and profoundness as they greeted evening and as the water crashed beneath the docks - they did not say a word yet. The breeze shuts their whispers as the man with a curve tap cane with a snake strikes its prey on the top of the grip. "Good evening Mr. Jimenez" the young man greeted as he heeds the tap of the cane above the wooden slab. "What do you want? I have other business to handle so make it quick if possible" the old man said after caressing on top of his palm or below his knuckles. "It's always about Colvart and Wilson" He fights his quiver and then attempts to gaze at the old man with a stubborn essence and the deadly sins. "I assigned them to eliminate the rott
After I take the tasks from Mr. Jimenez - He gave me a bunch of cash in the case. I take my morning coffee before heading to WPD. Another task that has been provided to me to accomplish from my mafia lineage tonight. Nevertheless, more work has to be done. The city grasps with empty lights and further noises. Hazes of pleasures mingle the buildings, illegal trading seeking above the pavements, and debris in each paces I take to WPD still exists. "Another case for us" Marina spoke up as she gave me the glass tablet in front of me with her eyes widened from stress. "What problem?" I asked then I smell her aroma after she leans forth on top and made me want to take off her skin to sniff it in. What a pervert of me. "In district seven, there's a case that the victim encountered rape last night and this motherf*cker got away without a trace of surveillance footage" she implied her nose and nails on the screen, her bosom dipping in as well as her loveliness beneath her brow
I summoned a cab in the evening. The sky gave sprinkles of wonders with its glimmering stars lighted beyond the clouds once more.I slid my buttocks into the cab to carry myself to district seven after it came.District seven doesn't have a gate like the few districts that stands beside the center, near ports, markets, and barricades. It only exists as a subdivision that blends with skyscrapers of companies, corporations, and such.Their apartment was close to the Park of the district that was coated with blossoms. I paid for the cab after I catch my destination. The district is peaceful like an empty hall in the museum.I push a stroll across the lawn and welcome myself in without greeters beside me.I went up where Grace hold which is between the base and the middle footing of the apartment. I knock on the door as my feet meet the entrance of her home.A slight creak prevails, she slid her fingers at the door and then toss me a confection smile."Good evening Sir Wilson, ple
She pulls herself up and heaves her tension and bliss aside to shove her breath with irritation forth.I stand still as well as her. Between us, there's the atmosphere barely getting cold from our gaze. My chin is on her top so she gazes up high.I was concerned about her what happened to James's kids and then this is what happened if I shed a Russian's single sorrow. "Why you are like this? I'm concerned" I whispered and then try myself not to resist shoving reverse. "We should've split," She said and her breathy mist hit upon my chest - it was cold. "The kids will have their peace and we can do better than our mistakes" I replied and lay my consideration palm onto her shoulders. "Don't you ever touch me!" She pushes herself backward. "If you keep thinking about them, we'll never solve the case successfully" "You failed eight times but you kept going onward so where's the old one who carries hefty weights eh?" I added as I move gradually nigher. "The more
"I can take the crate safely" I spoke one's mind with irritation as well as bliss to see her stroll off as I kneeled to clutch the crate by strength. "Good night Sir Wilson," She said afterward brushing her lips to keep an eye on me holding up the crate that wasn't heavy as a boulder. "I'll deliver this to my friend from district two and you don't have to mind my own business Ma'am Deli" I huffed before I take another pace and haul more air behind the crate. "Going out during the curfew? Why your friend from the other city didn't pass the crate to your friend from district two?" She asked with her curiosity running around her thoughts. "I have no idea but I can take it from here, Good night!" My temper pulled up but my yell did not make her halt from tiptoeing beneath my footsteps. "Use my car to get there," She told me with a weary face and yet with a kindness beyond her prettiness. We entered the elevator. "I'll use a cab" "There's no cab available in to
(POV OF MARINA) The car pulled over exactly where this maniac lives and stumble upon the area where I can already sense an ominous aurora lurking on the ground.I saunter ahead to the door to bust in without hesitation. Blasting a light on a dark surface, rumbling the boards, and building a bunch with my anger over fiercely. There it was beneath the flat of the drawer - pictures of his victims before he slaughtered them. Some are not yet dead. I look away to find another.F*ck this is frustrating. I always accumulate cases that are often involved drugs and sex within the homicide crisis. I contacted Melanie who's good at hacking - a friend of mine once. I walk back and forth above the boards until I hear her voice echoing through the speaker. "Hello," She answered. "Hey, you still remember me?" "Marina? Of course yes, I would easily recognize your voice" "I want you to do something, it's an emergency" "New homicide?" "Yes, please we must hustle, umm I w
POV of Marina: Tension pulls me under as I witness another prey spitting blood through the waterholes below the shower. Another girl another bareness. The rain exist as heavy as a shower of splinters. However, the formation of a raindrop is identical to a pebble and the strike is like a boulder from the ridge. I'm wearing a long black coat and a leather hat to protect me from the blizzard in the lane next block still in District Twenty-one. The assistance of the investigation passes me the information about the recent killing - replacing Wilson for the case because of his illness. "Happened before six, same suspect, examining the victim with no weapons beside and we have a visitor right behind that pavement, it's her mother in a red hoodie," Tenny said before he lay his finger at the diner next to the scene. He made an effort his fairest to be heard through those pounds of drops. "Thank you Ten!" I yelled after taking his one printed document in the envelope. I
The slaughtering was insanely pleased my essence.I order her to avoid the strikes and swiftly step forth to impale the talons through its heart, neck, abdomen, and face plenty counts. They bite to free themselves now her scars are again bitten upon. The gashes and strikes made the puppet wailed loudly than the siren's hum. Three left after the row streak of dodging and storming from a foremost quarter of the training. The wolves were supporting each other's out by playing one as a decoy and one for the assault. It is a clever move but the moment I can defeat them. Now it just was - It was a smart plan though.Blood flow through the veins as the crimson fluid splashed onto the skin and the plungplunge and made the beast yearn for more battle to huff the fleshy aura of a deadly predator. Striking through the heart of the last wolf and ripping the skin with claws and teeth after I have slain the last and the rest. It was tiring for the beast as well as my body needed to lie down.I
Myself heard a knock after heeding a piece of music through the chip in my ear. I drop the other things like my shirts and towels that haven't settled on the tables and within the drawers. "Is Wilson here?!" A woman's voice travels through the door so I stroll forth. "Can I help you?" I asked with my brows down after I haul the door. "You the player that Jeremiah kept blabbering about?" I believe this is the Merinda. "Yes ma'am" I nodded. "You free to guide?" "I'll get my things" That was quick in the first half but afterward, I finally fetch the towel and a bottle before reaching out for her. "You familiar with Raven's games?" She asked while her eyes are not on mine. "My intentions are on business" "Ever tame a dog?" "Do I look like that kind of person who can't tame?" "Your look like a guy who eats meat for protein and p*ssy for luck" she rolled her eyes. "What're the rules here?" I chuckled before I asked. We both entered the
I take a shower after I put up with a nap under twice an hour. My frigid fingers towards the cold pour from the shower halt its drizzle.I let it plunge down my abdomen as I shake my complexion to get rid of the drops beneath my chin and fingertips. The haze blurs the mirror so I swept left before I glue my gaze upon the mirror. I fetch my phone after I stroll past the doorframe of the bathroom but yet still in the motel. She's sluggish at picking buzzes. "It's f*cking one in the morning, what the f*ck do you want?" Marina groaned through the speaker. "I've found the location of the manufacturer of the drugs that were probably used by the Vipers along with Romano" I answered. "You sound sick, what's wrong?" Her concern melted my heart yet still along with her irritated tone. "I had a fever so I'll tell chief I'm truly suffering from my fever so I'm calling it a day but still will provide information" "Where did you get the fever?" "From showering I believe but
"What do you want this time?" I questioned with my brows shoved low as the tight space barely took my gust. "Oh babe, you still thinking about that last time?" She grinned after she huff her smoke. "Of course not and stop huffing your smoke in front of my face" I wave my hand from left to right to get rid of the smoke from inhaling it. "I want you to help me," She said. "No drunk crap please" "Aww I knew it but not this time" She leans close and I can sense her haze laying above my chest. "What business?" "I want you to play for tomorrow night at the Raven Tournament because my fighter can't get rid of his booze" She showed me her card and twirled it around the middle of her finger. "You know I have a job right?" I tighten my tone. "Make an excuse and that sh*t won't be that long" she speaks like she never underwent what it gropes to be the son of a mafia. "Bullsh*t Cat!" I slammed behind her. "Don't be mad at me yet, I haven't told you my
My chip buzzed unexpectedly as I gaze at another billboard of advertisement for pleasure and gluttony. It was Wayne so I immediately admitted the ring. Jonathan: What? Wayne: In the cab now? Jonathan: Just got in earlier, why? Wayne: Master is early as well as Mr. Jimenez, Cross, Blood Judas, Humpleton, Sakura-chan, and Catherine Jones including me you f*cking cobb. Jonathan: Tell them I'm almost there. Wayne: Bye hurry the f*ck up! Down the galleries of many skyscrapers - I found the corps I try to unearth at last. I came in safely as I showed my face to the defenses. They know me because they memorize I'm part of the Criemsons.Within the Corps there exists a big chandelier hung with plenty of well-shaped glasses of gleams in the center of the interior.Black shiny tiles below my foot, artificial plants beside the elegant stairs, and between the stairs there's an elevator so I used them. "You're late," Catherine said emotionlessly with a deep accent o
Through the metal creaks we pace on still ongoing for another round. We break ourselves apart to uncover each room of the house.Flash in and flash out if it's clear. The scene of the fallen couple will be maintained by our chief, officers, and CSI before we baffle them. This house is pretty ordinary, like heaps of bottles, stacks of dishes, and piles of clothes commonly seen in men's cribs. However, we catch a glance of a crack in the walls and some look like they thawed down. He might invite his members to break some stuff. "Wilson, come here and check this out" Marina flickered her light on a red fluid vomit which is causing aversion to gape at. "Is he infected or he's just creating more games for us?" "Either" she answered after she sneered from resisting not to puke as well. "A red fluid vomit, bottles, cracks on the walls, and an empty satchel of drugs, is there any related to the gaining power crap cases similar beyond the barricaded virus?" I asked. "We ha
"Grace! Open the door!" Marina yelled while I was cocking the weapon up before I booted in. Our victim didn't respond so I chose to shove to blast the door off by weight. Marina was the first to enter before me. "Hey!" I shouted thrice as he barely slit Maria's throat. He heaves Maria onto his zeal yet still his forearms enfold around her neck to threaten her physically. "Put your weapon down or we'll shoot!" Marina indicated the verge of her weapon at our suspect. "کریمسن کا شکار کرے۔, خدا ہمیں وائپرز کو برکت دے اور " "What the f*ck is he saying?" Marina asked as she twitched her chin to glance at both. Maria blubbered with tears descending through her reddened cheeks as our enemy slightly pressed his blade. "Drop your weapon!" I moved closer and then they stroll in reverse near the window with hanging pots. "I come for Wilson, may the pack of wolves fly but us Vipers will avenge and this is the message for you," He said in a deep fluent accent of Pakistan.
