Lucas’s Pov (a few days later) The conference room as I walked in was eerie silent. I didn’t have to look around to know that Victor had not yet arrived. Even though I wasn’t the one that called the meeting somehow my father and everyone else still acted like they were looking at a ghost. Whenever I looked at someone they quickly looked down and were busing themself with either their phone or some paperwork. It seemed like I had instilled feel in everyone here. When I got to my father he looked up at me with a forced smile. “How is everything going for you?” He asked as he looked back down towards his paperwork.
