Bella’s Pov “Stop.” I cried as I tried to move my head away from Lucas’s hand that wouldn’t stop rubbing my hair. For some reason after he had kissed me like he needed me to breath he had nudged my head against his chest. His continuous stroke of my hair had me feeling flustered. Bella’s Pov A small smile formed as I climbed out of the car. “It’s beautiful.” I whispered as I looked at the huge beach resort that we would be staying at for the next two weeks. The resort was bigger than any building I had ever seen before. It was like 10 times as long as our company. The pearly white and black trimming of the building almost seemed out of place if not for the clouds and the mountain that were in the distance. “How is there snow on that mountain but not here?” I asked. I furrowed my brows and looked at the mountain that clearly had a lot of snow on it. I looked up at the sky and stared at all the blue that should’ve had at least a few clouds blocking it. Bella’s Pov I couldn’t help but feel like a pampered prisoner as I gently moved my legs through the water. I held the railing on the side of the indoor pool that was somehow in our suite and allowed my body to float out a little.“This is unfair.” I mumbled as I pushed myself away from the edge. Bella’s PovA small smile was plastered on my lips as I allowed my feet to wiggle in the sand. The coolness of it as I pushed my feet deeper brought a sense of comfort to my body. You would think that they were here for a business meeting instead of lunch that consisted of breakfast. Bella’s Pov“Don’t move or you will regret it.” Dr. Hickory declared as the man that was in front of me pulled out a needle. I would’ve never thought that Dr. Hickory was this shady. I knew he was not the best brain doctor but I didn’t see him as a thug. Threatening a woman with a big buff guy in a suit seemed below him. The man that had the needle in his hands seemed to be almost emotionless. His eyes seemed to be a black hole and his posture was a little of the rough side. He seemed like he should be a security guard somewhere shady. I looked at all the witnesses that were clearly watching this mess unfold and narrowed my eyes. “Is nobody going to help me with these thugs?” I asked in frustration. Clearly they were thugs and unless everyone in here was a thug someone should’ve already called for help. I knew I couldn’t ask Lucas for help because he had hired these thugs.
