I was busy working in mom's diner, trying to clean up a toddler who just flipped a whole bowl of soup on his head, when my phone pinged, indicating that I just got a text. I didn't reach for my phone until I had the child cleaned and with a new bowl of chicken soup.

I reached into my apron's pouch and took out my phone. It was an unknown number. It could be Rowan since the person was asking where I was.

"Working in my mom's diner. Is this Rowan?"

I had to ask.

"Nope, Ralph. Send me the address." His reply came in.

Ralphael. That's right, I gave him my number. I totally forgot about that.

I wanted to reply and give him the address, but then I remembered that he's good looking and Nessa won't let me hear the end of it if another good looking man came looking for me.

"Or, I could come to you. Tell me where you are." I texted back. I knew mom wouldn't mind if I wanted to leave, so it was easier to just go meet him wherever he was.
